Hehe, i feel a bit inadequate now but anyway:

I do have a nice new set of 5Bs though thanks to Airedale and if i hit another tower in the next few weeks i fill have a bigger gun than the ep-41 i have now :laugh:
 
teamwork is way more important than skills and equipment :)

p.s now level 28 laser pistoleer, although still feels a long way from serendipity...
 
Heya...1/8th Scot here ;)

119 HP, Ghost, Gremlin, and Vigi sets, 2a, 2c, 5a, and 6a sets. Korss(H380-H400), MKII, A103-A105 amps. FAP-5, FAP-50, FAP-80

I just broke 3.4 HA with Laser Sniper...whatever that is.

I *do* have a time conflict with our first slot as the week of FEB 26th I have Jury Duty. :(

EDIT: I understand the rules better now. We can only field one team of 4 people, so I'll just have to sit-out this first round. We'll need to spread around the firepower, but this first round is CRITICAL as we have to qualify.

Hopefully next round will have bots on the list...they are my forte' ;)

I'd like to discuss a few strategies and tactics, but don't want to tip-off the other teams. If you like, I can make a private forum on my Soc's website where we can discuss such matters...without tipping-off the other teams.

Serendipity is close...and it would be cool if you could unlock it before the competition. If you are going to be hunting anyway, might as well get max skills.

I'd be up for a Sunday Romp, but I already have a soc hunt, 11 AM MA time ...which is 3AM my time:eek: .

I do suggest we get on each-others FL and try to hunt a bit...to get used to each other, team tactics and try to figure out the team loot rules. I personally haven't used them since the peds stopped. Loots distrubution should be hacked out so we don't end up fighting over loot during the hunt.

Personally, i think everything should be split equally, but i do want the people who are burning more ammo with the bigger guns to be compensated for their extra burden...just not sure how to do that...yet.

And I think teamspeak would really, really help ...hard type when i am trying to kill everything quickly! I think most other teams are already planning on using it. If I can't get access to one, or none of us have one, I'd be willing to rent/buy/setup one for us for this competition.

Doesn't seem close, would've got it a while ago but i pretty much just mine these days :laugh: . Actually went back up to the big casino anyway to help ease my ore amp withdrawal so probably can't hunt tomorrow anyway - unless anyone else is up in space ;)

Thing is i don't have a computer through at my flat in Glasgow so am only ever in EU if i'm back home in Perth - not great i know :rolleyes: Probably after tomorrow i won't be back til the Friday 2nd of March which i think is when this things starts anyway. Next weekend the mighty saints are in cup action again, excited already :)
 
Time Slot

Our time slot is 11 PM Fridays. which I think means most of you will be playing until 2 AM ;).

This will kill me as I am -800 GMT, and it will be 3 pm on a friday for me.

The Aussies have an 8 PM sunday slot which means they will play from 4AM to 7 AM on Monday!

I would like to ask the group if 8pm to 11 PM on sunday is better for you to play than fridays 11 PM to 2AM. If so, I can try to arrange a trade and give the aussies a break to play 7 AM to 10 AM on saturday.

We should try to meet up for a little hunt together at some point this week.

I am the one that benefits the most, so I have to wait for the rest of the full-bloods to chime in ;).

The scots would go from 11PM to 2 AM Friday night, to 8PM to 11PM Sunday night.

Aussies go from 4am to 7am *MONDAY* morning to 7AM to 10AM saturday morning.

I think it's a win-win as these times seem more "civil" than their alternates.

In a "country" event like this, perhaps next time countries should be grouped by timezone, especially the non-european ones. Our players are international, so we could get judges for almost any timezone, too. Geographically larger countries like Russia and US might need east and west teams...
 
Hi, just to mention: Earlier the Aussies qualifier was quoted in your team thread as 8pm sunday (GMT), but if all goes well it's the 4pm slot they should occupy (7th group, 7th slot)

The idea to put everyone into their relative timezones was considered, but I thought it would be easier if the teams were put into fighting order only the once; teams from all over will have to co-ordinate hunt times all though the tournament, so might as well start now. Some countries also occupy time-zones not shared by many other participating nations.

Looks like you got a handy team there, good luck:)

In that case they would only have to hunt from midnight to 3 am MONDAY ;)

I think the switch would still be best.

Just trying to get people who are NOT in my soc on the aussie and scot team to chime in...

As Kygon metioned already, teamwork is better than skills ;) Plus your determination should do the trick.

Who is free and at what times this week?

I work Monday-Friday 0800-1800 generally. Can make exceptions, but I'd prefer us to get some practice in of an evening this week.

Any night is cool for me apart from Thursday!
 
Practice

Well Im on just about every night all night..... get in around 20.00 MA time, earlier if I get home in time.

I have a flat which we could meet at if you want till at least we get each other on fl for future contact, since i have not met any of u b4.
It is TI City Copper (behind and down the hill from the building next to the tp) and is 10F, I have been decorating there lately and so there is a good chance I will be there.

Any other ideas for meets let me know from here or send me a message through forum

Skills: Like kygon and Raid have stated, Team-work will be by far the most important skill. - What i mean by this is, why let the enemy know what they are in for ;). I suggest you remove your Detail information and copy it to a .txt document until Frig creates a sub-section on the soc forum and re-post it to there.
Remember, fear is your friend ;)

I'll modify my equipment as needed when the mob lists are provided each time.

im on everynight , but tonight, celtic v's ac milan , ooohohohohohohohohoh no no no no even EU takes a back seat to that,

ill be logging on right after it , 9.45 10:00 pm ish

but good idea, mabey a little team hunt so the ubers ;) can show us how we ment to do it . :)
 
Like i said, i can't get on during the week - unless i can find a way of installing it on a university comp :laugh: Next weekend is Scottish cup weekend :) Prob wont be back on next until the Friday after that, not ideal i know...
