News: The Expansion of Entropia Universe

Well I was clearly very wrong about the new planet. A regular PP from what I've heard, although somewhat Calypso lore connected. A story spin off as it were or something. We'll just have to see where this takes us. Certainly sounds like there's been a lot of new stuff going on in Entropia in the last 6 months.

What could possibly go wrong here with this fool proof plan?

So let's see what may happen to Joe Bloggs who has a Zyn Rucksack, Basic (M).

MA (Calypso): Joe Bloggs Cyrene has gone boom! you need to choose what you would like for your Zyn Rucksack, Basic (M). From Calypso we can offer you Skam Ladies Handbag (C) plus a complimentary red banana.
Joe Bloggs: Hmm well it sure sounds like a scam alright! Why those they have nothing to do with my item?
MA (Calypso): Well our AI may still need a bit more work to it.
Joe Bloggs: Ok what if I go with a different planet partner?
MA (Calypso): You'll need to ask them what they can offer you for it because each planet has to decide for themselves what they deem to be appropriate.

Joe Bloggs: Hi Rocktropia what can you offer me for a Zyn Rucksack, Basic (M)?
MA (Rocktropia): A rotten banana.
Joe Bloggs: Eh what you trying to pull here? What do you take me for?
MA (Rocktropia): We are still working hard to improve the AI.
Joe Bloggs: Is there any PP that isn't using AI to pick alternatives for me?
MA (Rocktropia): You can try Monria.

Joe Bloggs: Hi Monria what can you offer me for a Zyn Rucksack, Basic (M)?
Monria: Why would we need to offer you anything? What is this regarding?
Joe Bloggs: Have MA not told you about Cyrene going boom and we need to find alternatives from participating planets for our items.
Monria: Ah yes the genesis project. Let us check with MA what we can offer...

technically shouldn't all "unknowns" be marked as "unsafe" ?

I would like to know this also, as i am heavily invested in all these "unsafe" planets, and it puts doubt on all players input on said planets....
 
Who said AG is unsafe? Last i heard was that NI and all areas envolving, including AG where taken over by MA.

Doesnt MA own Arkadia (+moon +underground)?

I Mapped the conversation in discord, here is a copy paste:

Yes, MindArk (MA) acquired Next Island, which includes the Ancient Greece area, as part of their Planet Partner program within Entropia Universe. Ancient Greece is a themed sub-area accessible via the Orpheus Cave teleporter on Next Island, therefor, not a separated instance from NI.

It's been two months since this announcement. Is there more news regarding these other planets? There's info across a lot of platforms and I can't keep up with them all... discord, facebook, forums, etc.

Wait is this the new system? I thought this was how all ordinary loot occurrences worked already.

Maybe the compensation involves items on these future virtual worlds? One can only speculate at the moment.

My prediction based on the very limited knowledge of this is we will have more new planets. Most of which will do no marketing hence won't be able to maintain upkeep and go bust fairly quickly or in the medium term.

Out of the many one may actually do real marketing and be able attract new players and grow their planet and the EU universe.

I have to agree.

So many fast introductions and so little research or development.. Almost a quick money grab at a different level.
 
When the economy isn't diluted enough .

Just go back to PE at this point.

EU is not sustainable
 
Only news I have so far is Cyrene and Arkadia confirmed that they have not been marked safe yet and no official announcement as of yet.
