Hey all,

Been definitely enjoying ARIS alongside a lot of the player-base it seems, a few of us in Hardcore got bitten by the secret finding bug and spent the last two days painstakingly trawling the planet in search of its secrets. All in all, this was about 20-30 hours each of time spent by myself, and other members of Hardcore during the search. Wanted to make sure this was made available to all instead of staying behind locked doors.

The instances are both public and I believe enterable by teams, come in three flavours of 'small', 'medium' and 'large' and the new mobs in there seem to drop Snake Oil and Hyperium :)

After finding data terminals in the robot instances we pieced together the information to find a passcode to a door that's in the cliffside North-East of Transit Base 'Edwin'.

And the passcode for the door, which teleports you to the upper side of the plateau:

There's some extra lore up here which goes into more detail into the 'cube' artifacts and hints at what might be coming! But i'll let people discover the lore themselves.

After a painstaking search, I found [ARIS, 33693, 20415, 317, Waypoint] at the north end of the area, jumping down found the secret instance and another dead scientist!

Thanks especially to Born, Bobbaz and Shilda who painstakingly helped grid-search the entire planet for scientists and clues! Bonus image of us partially working through the grid search of the entire planet!

Did you need the hyperium voucher to get flagged to use the interactable to enter the access code? The authorization required and enter keycode box was not popping up yesterday. Maybe fixed with patch? Will have to look into more things that were non-functional yesterday as well now

edit: found out interactable objects not working previously was a bug, no vouchers or anything is needed to access this. thanks.

Thanks Nana and others who have contributed to this. I am sure this will be appreciated by many players!

Ah I tried accessing that door and it did nothing, so the latest patch fixed it?

Seen a few reports now of people not getting this prompt, I'm not sure yet if fixed or if it's still happening intermittently.

Totally fresh green news to me. Thanks for the info!
So what do we suppose ARIS stands for eh? All Ready It's Super?

Anti Robot Invasion System or something like that according to the news. I like Another Rock In Space better though (someone posted here on PCF)

Hyperium dropped from these mobs is whats required for the alter thats on the small island at the bottom of the map. It asked for 10000 Hyperium, it’ll be interseting too know what that atler does.

Is #4 wp there supposed to be a dead scientist like the others? I couldn't find anything there.

Can U send a waypoint ingame from this altar?

Actually what happened for me was, I was on the wrong side.

I had revived on the Elder island, jumped in the fire pond, and ended up the other cube and tried that door. I didn't realise there was another door the other side of the mountains and that presented the code prompt just fine.

Its dead in the centre of the little island, i was only able too get there due too there being no revive. I thought i was stuck on there, Too my belief this has been fixed with a revive being placed between the main island and the little one.

interesting but useless, no extra reward, just fungoids and new daikiba big bulls with masks
1) come to door with passcode
2) enter pass and tp to other door
3) (if needed) check cube a liitle north
4) go to water and jump to hills and find cave with that cow on picture
/wp [ARIS, 33693, 20415, 317, Big Cow Cave]

Disagree. They look nothing like Daikibas. They are worth doing. I would argue though, that they missed an opportunity here to add a big boss for each of the three instances. That would've been cool. Like I can see a big mammoth with more chance for MU stuff and so forth.

Interesting. How'd you get the passcode information? Is that provided from an npc or did you manually type out every combination from 0 up to 53180088008135

There are data terminals hidden in each RDI themed instance that have a different part of the complete message that is shown by the cube in the unlocked area which lets you build up the password.

So the logical progression goes:

Instances to get info > locked door > secret instance.

I'm not sure yet how the 'hidden island' factors into things as currently there's no discovered way to get there that doesn't use reviving to get onto the island. So logically the next part of the lore of the game is probably going to be related to either the scrapheap boss mobs or part of the daily hyperium turn in missions.

what you getting for daily hyperium turn in missions?

It's not a daily, looks like you can turn in as many as you like.

It gives a 'diploma' where the item description hints that it does nothing but worth holding on to.

🤷‍♂️
