TheNun's Weekly Appreciation of the Almighty Lootius

Oh Dear Lootius,

I’ve rewritten this text more times than I can count. I’ve debated whether to post it at all, wondering if it’s even worth the effort. Maybe it would be easier to let it go and pretend none of it ever happened. But some things are too important to ignore. Hopefully, this will be the last time I have to write about this topic ...

That gave me goosebumps! Well written :)

No 'real' blog post this Sunday, dear Lootians, but don’t worry - things haven't been all quiet at TheNun this week - and I still have a 'few words' on my mind I wish to share directly on this forum.

I was over the asteroid when Church of Lootius Events & Media earlier this week got invited to host monthly events at the Howling Mine.

It totally took me back to the wild, creative days more than 15 years ago were I did events on CND together with Viagrafalls. This also seriously kicked off the Era of Church of Lootius back then. No doubt those were epic times, full of fresh ideas and unforgettable fun together with amazing people.

But epic moments with amazing people are still waiting to be made - even today.

Personally, I never cared about the skills, the money or even fame in this game. Creating events and sparking community joy in Entropia comes from pure passion and a heart and energy that just can't stop beating for Entropia. I know it might sound a bit off to some folks who think giving should always come with something in return - otherwise something's definitely wrong or there must be a hidden agenda.

I'm also fully aware that speculations are swirling, fueled by rumors (read my last blog post - and in that regard, thanks for all your support, not to mention sharing similar stories). But honestly, the real reward here is the joy of creating, sharing, and simply having a lot of fun together.

I know, I’m not the only one out here trying to make a difference. A huge shout-out to everyone who dedicates their in-game life and their free time to help others, create unforgettable events, awesome streams about our world, and keep our forums, websites, and wikis updated and thriving.

You all - old as new players - make this universe a better place, and even if your efforts aren’t celebrated every single day, week, or month, know that you are truly valued. Even when the game gets so serious that gratitude slips through the cracks, keep on giving.

I’m also super grateful to have teamed up with awesome, like-minded people who also love making the community shine and grow. And if we can push you upwards, we will. Together, we formed Church of Lootius Events & Media, and it’s been an absolute adventure since then!
Our new motto is "We Love Everybody, and You're Next" :shower:

So, get ready. Next weekend we’re spreading some luwing, throwing a fun party at the Howling Mine, and I’d love to see you there for some free-spirited, good-vibes-only 'free-to-play' fun.

Lootius bless you and the entire Universe <3

Dear Lootius,

Time is a strange thing. It moves forward relentlessly, yet in the grand design of the Universe, it seems to stand still. The Time Machine (2002), a modern adaptation of H.G. Wells’ masterpiece that I watched a few days back with a friend, teaches us that no matter how far we travel, whether thousands of years into the future or across the expansive cosmic frontiers of Entropia, one cannot change the truth.

In the film, Alexander Hartdegen is not just a scientist but a man driven by loss. Unlike his literary counterpart, his journey is not purely about knowledge but about the desperate attempt to undo a personal tragedy. His quest to save Emma, the woman he loves, ends in frustration when he realizes that fate will always find a way to correct itself, no matter how many times he travels back, her death is inevitable. And so, he pushes forward, propelled by a need for answers, only to find that even in the distant future, humanity remains divided between those who live in ignorant bliss and those who control from the shadows ...

Read on to discover how I weave the connections between the film and our Universe, uncovering the hidden parallels that bind them together:

Thank you !

Out of rep ... have this ... :saint:

Great read, full of excellent advice. I would add my all time favorite Avengers (by Sharon Carter) quote: "Compromise where you can. Where you can't, don't. Even if everyone is telling you that something wrong is something right. Even if the whole world is telling you to move, it is your duty to plant yourself like a tree, look them in the eye, and say, 'No, you move."

Thank you <3 Glad you liked it. And a great quote too. Standing firm in what's right, even when the world pushes back, is a lesson worth remembering in any Universe ...:saint:

Dear Lootians,

This weekend was blessed with joy and two nights of fun & partying with some truly great friends, and a holy day of rest - aka today, Sunday spent in recovery mode, with coffee, junk, and possibly a little prayer for mercy (yes, I saw the pictures ... :saint: 🔥❤️‍🔥). So, no blog post from me today ... unless you count in this little note from the confessional booth 😉

But let me just say how awesome it is to share moments with like-minded people. Not just in our pixelated Universe, but out in the wilds of RL too. When gaming bonds turn into genuine friendships, where you can laugh, dance, and talk on a daily basis you experience something real sacred.

Doing things together online, offline (or whatever line you want) makes everything better. When you're on the same frequency, vibing on a soul level, you don’t need much else. That kind of connection is rare and very valuable. So treasure and appreciate what you have - I know, I do 🙏

Until next time - stay fabulous, stay foolish, stay on your knees!

Dear Lootius,

We tend to hate AI because it feels fake. We fear it might replace us, our jobs, our creativity, even our value. And indeed AI did already in many ways. Also in Entropia, AI is showing up more and more. And in real life, AI can do almost anything now. Translations, rewriting, image generation, music, even voiceovers, and you can get your own AI boy- or girlfriend.

I recently took a few of my poems and fed them into Suno.com’s AI song creator, and the result truly amazed me. You can listen to “my” music in this blog post. Lately, many Entropians have started creating music through AI and honestly, a lot of it is absolutely stunning and catchy.

And here's one of the music tracks :)

The first time you left, I was confused
A silence lingered, my heart bemused
I whispered your name to the midnight air
And found a feather lying there
Soft and light, it seemed to glow
A secret message I’d never know

The second time you turned to leave
My anger burned, but still I grieved“
I don’t care ...” I swore to the sky
But my words were hollow, they felt like a lie
Yet once again, upon my bed
A feather appeared where dreams had fled

I hid it away, with the rest concealed
A box of memories never revealed
And now, I see it clear as day
You’ll disappear and fade away
The weight of your shadow grows faint and thin
A fleeting ghost of what once had been

But before you vanish and leave me behind
I’ll make a choice that is solely mine
Each tear I shed becomes a feather
Born from the moments we spent together
Bright as joy, sharp as pain
A tapestry woven from loss and gain

With steady hands, I sew them tight
A cloak of wings for my own flight
Each stitch is laughter, love, and rage
A final chapter, the closing page

The wings I wear will bear my soul
Lifting me high, making me whole
For when you vanish into the night
I’ll rise before you, out of sight.

An extra treat on a boring Monday - Enjoy :saint:

Kneel down, my child
whisper it slow
Tell me your secrets
I already know

A touch of sin
a taste so divine
Say three Hail Lootius
then make you mine

Roses are red, Violence are blue
Confess your sins, Or I’ll punish you

Confess
Confess

TheNun is watching
better behave
Or you’ll find yourself
craving the crave

A little temptation
a lot of delight
Shall we pray
or play tonight

Roses are red, Violence are blue
I’m a naughty Nun, And so are you

Confess
Confess

No big blog post from your Nun today - just a little update from the altar of inspiration.

Right now, I’m completely immersed in music-making. It’s a whole new and exciting world for me, and I promise I’ll share more about it soon. For now, let’s just say. I’m exploring, experimenting, and loving every moment of it. And yes, spamming a bit too ... sorry bout that :D

A little backstory: I’ve been playing piano since I was four and a half. I have what you’d call perfect pitch, and as a child, I would come home and play songs I'd heard elsewhere. From the age of five /six, I spent two to three hours a day at the piano until I moved out at 17. It was my safe space, my sanctuary.

Even as a kid, I composed little melodies, and by the age of twelve, I was already teaching other kids on my street how to play. In high school, I chose the music and language track, though it wasn’t as creatively fulfilling as I’d hoped. Life eventually took me down other paths (marketing, graphics, design) and from the age of 27 until now, I hardly played at all. To be honest, I barely remember much of it anymore ...

But something magical has happened. These days, I’ve been combining music with lyrics and poems I’ve written over the years as an author - infused with a little help from AI composition and editing tools - and suddenly, a whole new creative universe has opened up.

It’s honestly the most fulfilling thing I’ve done since writing my fantasy trilogy seven years ago. Thank you, Lootius, for the inspiration and all the open doors. We are so lucky. You are so lucky. Everything is out there waiting for you. You just have to reach out and claim it.

Today, I submitted my first song to DistroKid, set for release on all platforms April 15th. Even if no one listens, even if no one cares, I did it because I wanted to. Because I could. Because it adds to this crazy, beautiful experience we call life, where we constantly have to challenge ourselves to grow :)

The song is already available for preorder - and if you’d like to support me, it would mean the world if you subscribed to my YouTube channel.

Thank you for reading, and may Lootius bless every beat of your heart

Yours, TheNun

Yes, I know it's not Nunday ... but I’m really proud - because today, I did 'another' new thing that once felt impossible

My very first single "J’ai menti" (I Lied) is out now on Spotify. And on the 15th, the above Disco track will be released, which I’ve also pitched to Spotify’s playlists today. Fingers crossed 🤞 I thought the Disco hit was going to be the first, but to be able to pitch it with an Artist Account, I had to upload another track first.

I originally wrote the poem behind "J’ai menti" in Danish, then turned it into a French/English ballad, a chill, electronic piece created with the help of (a lot of) prompts in Suno and at the end polished/perfected in BandLab. The vocals are performed by a personally created persona I use in (almost) all my songs.

I also made the cover image using AI in Photoshop, and the YouTube video is built from shorts generated in Sora. It’s a long process to get exactly the sound and feeling you imagine, but for me, it’s absolutely worth it and a very fun learning process.

In total, I’ve written 13 songs so far. I share my music videos across my YouTube, TikTok, Facebook and blog-page.
I hope you like it :)
If you wanna help me out it will mean a lot to me, if you will follow / like - thank you

Never give up on your dreams - never stop at boundaries ❤️

Dear Lootius & Entropians,

I want to apologize once again, as I was supposed to post a blog entry today, but instead, I ended up pouring my heart into creating this beautiful track.

It’s something quite different from the music I usually make, directly inspired by some of my biggest idols: Chris Lake, Mark Dekoda, and Armin van Buuren. I wanted to capture a mysterious, powerful, and seductive feminine energy. and I feel like I’ve come pretty close to doing just that.

Originally, I had planned for today’s blog post to focus on whether using AI in music is a good or bad thing, and whether anyone can actually do it. And technically, yes, anyone can. But not everyone can make good music with AI. Just like with anything else, it takes practice, learning to master the prompts and the tools you're working with.

Lately, I’ve created a lot of songs across many different genres (19 songs ... ). I’ve done this to test the limits of AI, to understand different musical directions, and to push my own boundaries. Now, I’m moving into a new style - because I don’t believe in limiting yourself in life.

Music follows our moods and, in many ways, reflects the soul. You can express so much through music and visuals - things words alone often fail to capture. I use it a lot, both privately and here in the forum. I know many other Entropians do the same ❤️

I truly hope you enjoy this little piece of music as much as I enjoyed creating it.

Lootius bless,
TheNun

A dark techno ritual - a hypnotic pulse of feminine power, seductive menace, and ancient energy rising. Inspired by cinematic atmospheres and the primal energy of trance: You Lit The Fire.

A little something on this Nun-day ❤️

Dear Lootius,

Real life events sometimes push us into unexpected new paths. Even though I once thought it would never happen, I recently found myself creating music – with a little help from AI. Music created by AI can be many things. And I have to admit, I can always tell if a track has been generated by AI or played by a real band. But I had a wish: to try it out myself. I’ve always been very musical and have loved music deeply my whole life.
