FYI: "There's no markup in the game". Meanwhile the auction... (one of the most important lessons in the game: auction house)

Good advice, but I think a lot of people don't have much bankroll and need stuff to sell quickly so they can hunt again. And I don't think this will change much. But bankroll is very important so you can avoid this and every player should try as much as they can to increase their bankroll or decrease their cycle so they aren't losing as much money on the auction. Then again, some people have a lot of money to burn and you can see them doing large, unnecessary undercutting auctions all the time.

Man i gotta post something; Eve is giving a very very valuable tip for more profits that many can make and yet so many people jump out and argue here. It baffles me.
Pro tip: Check monthly graph and check peak sales. That's the price people are willing to pay when auction is cleaned out. List your item for 7 days, put SB around weekly. Worst case you get more than if you undercut.

Edit: You only need *one* person to buy your stuff.

100% agree with what Eve says !!!

We all want to keep playing but everybody will come to a point where they will say enough is enoug.

Loosing a lot in 1 run doesn't matter that much, cause it always comes back to around the 95%, but when you are selling very low ...

What I do to keep my numbers positive ....

I check my online list daily because, as you know, my TT return from mining is/was around 95%.
That's why I made my mining log to keep a closer eye on it.

Selling for less than 105% average and I'm killing myself

This means that I also have to sell enough every day to keep green numbers.

But what if you sell less than what you mine?

Then your total drops in the list and you fill up your storage or TT and you need more and more deposits.

By selling less, I am increasingly standing at the auction until my numbers are positive again.

Knowing HOW to sell is most important, because if you keep selling at a loss...
Compare it to a business in real life... you'll go bankrupt and you'll need more and more loans to keep you going.

Different stacks at different percentages... test this and don't sell if the percentage is too low.
I know it takes time because I've been “playing” like this for years.

Where it used to be fun, im now in surviving mode since the last year.
I still enjoy the game but mostly here for my friends, the fun is going down more and more.
