We know that everyone that works at MA/FPC has an avatar; and that they get a peds to play with each week; and they are stimulated to play the game.

So have you ever seen one of them? suspected a certain avatar to be one of them?
Would they be in your soc? would they infilitrate your soc? You might even have teamhunted with one of them?

Can you tell? they don't complain, maybe, since they would have to complain to their own work.
would they roam as freelander? How suspecious would they be? Are they on your friendlist? Do they own UL sib, uber gear or mid level stuff? Do they do all three proffesions?

They, they walk amongst us; the creators walk amongst us. Can you find them?

I saw an official give out free BPs once.

Rumor has it Marco is in our soc.....:eyecrazy:

Isn't the original by Alanis Morisette?

Also, svarog are you not a long playing swedish player that does not complain so much?
hmm, very suspecious....

J/K (not about Alanis, I like her voice better than Joan's)

Alanis Morissette never had performed this song, although this very performance I posted is way too often misattributed to her on these internets.

And I'm not even Scandinavian :silly2:

for sure; I swore I heared alanis sing this one; my memory must be failing me :S

And yeah, I was just joking. I don't think anyone from MA would reply here. What would they say, that they know all other MA players?

No really, isn't it strange that your socie could be one of "them"; they may populate the hof list as we speak...

All we know is that they most likely have long time avatars, speak swedish, don't complain about the game, and try to keep a low profile.

It is also said that they can fly on a broom, but that's just crazy RT talk

I met a avatar for many years ago, that I thought was an MA employee.
I was wrong thou', he didn't work for MA, but it turned out he worked for another
gamedeveloper. :)

I believe a MA rep is my soc. I often joke with him about it, and he has never actually denied it. so it must be true.

I met once ava who was talking about new planet where u can become rock star , dance etc. It was total bullshit then ( around 2008 or 2009 ). Then Rocktropia came...

Once in 2006 when i was scamed out of all my gear Official MA assistant assisted and aranged meeting betwen me and scammer (to alow him returning to me my gear )....damn....support used to be useful those days.

Official MA assistants has star above their heads and wear blue white clothes, no idea if they are recognizable now.

There once was a soc called we-arents, fully filled with undercover avatar, spoted because of picture uploaded showing them in the test server, this was enough for us to realise they play the game, loot stuff, stop regular players from looting it and sell it to us.. aint nothing here..

Note the difference between official with the star above the head AND the undercover ones that actually interact with the economy.

I sense some peeps are paranoid around here.

:yup:...................................

i hoffed once, i really started thinking maybe MA had hired me at that point.

Then i lost all again, guess it was just a freak loot.

Sence what you want..

Here's the bottom line, our PEDs come from sales such as estates and motherships. We can either pocket this money by deleting the PEDs thus reducing the amount of currency in circulation or cycle it back in various ways such as playing with it on our own avatars. The latter is the better alternative for you, assuming you want more rather than less money in the system.

And no we cant influence the loot of a single player. We're a business and how exactly would that help improve our bottom line? Adding features to the system costs big money and it isn't wasted on things that can't possibly contribute to that. (https://www.planetcalypsoforum.com/fo...t=#post3194523)

For monitoring us, they don't need to have undercover avas. They just mount a cam to a avatar X, and can see everything what you are doing and what others are doing around.

But good possible that some of this guys also have undercover avas and still play with us. RX unit as example is also a MA avatar.

Lykke is in permanent God-mode now - can't loot, can't take damage, star above head.

"Did I forget to tell you I can't die?"

There must be "undercover" ones that can loot and take damage, for testing purposes. Last few years they're either doing a very poor job or they haven't been online much? :scratch2:

OR since they are given their peds to play with, and can go back for more when they run out, perhaps they have a totally different play style or mindset than the "average" gamer. :dunce::wise::scratch2:

of course they are playing, it's addictive and some people are actually nice. also ma can not really stop people from playing, can they?

Then again, this would be bad for their reputation and someone would have broken the law of silence already. what is wikileaks saying about this? maybe Crone should just ask ma.

I belive they walk amongst us, I dont have a problem with it..its thier playground they kinda should play in it, profit from it, enjoy it, care about it. they also should buy more sweat.

Met a ton in the past - when they were totally unprofessional and just gave out random free crap to "liked" avatars.

Thankfully things have changed now. I'm fairly certain we'll never find out as MA can take all the information they need in near total secret (test avatars for low-level, unnoticeable gameplay, chat to warants for high level gameplay).

Regarding above quote, they DO influence loots of any single player since they are selling crap on auction, to resellers, etc., or alternatively 'give away' loots either directly or by dropping them on the ground, etc. All of that 'market activity' has some impact on markup rates in both positive and negative ways since economy is all supply/demand based.

Not only that, but because of the butterfly effect; the fart you let go last summer is a contributor to the snow in NY. So please, in the future be more careful :wise:
J/K; But the couple of hours that MA people log in the game has a equally laughable low effect

from where do you get the idea they only play a couple of hours? and not all day long on "testing tuesdays" or whatever they want to call it around the office.

magam ? must be , right ?

Because they have a life testing server to do that stuff.
Fact is that every employee is encouraged to play and gets peds to play with on the REAL server. Considering a normal population of working people; how many have time/interest in playing an MMO after a long working day? ofcourse some at MA will play alot more; but someone from accounting may not be an avid video game player in general...

They would be the ones that log in every day. Most of the people I knew from past society never log in any more. Just a select few friends that never seem to chat much, but are always on.:scratch2:

they are the ones buying all ores/enmats right before mining loot gets nerfed and the MU rockets (jk)
