Just trying to do an 'update' to a program that is making me download the whole thing instead of just an update (10.3) and not doing it like ANY OTHER FRIGGIN' software works..... like.... their software PROPERLY update itself??? Heck of a concept huh????

Did you run Prime 95 to eliminate a memory fault causing file corruption? (believe me, I've seen it happen first hand)

I FINALLY GOT IT!! 
Used other downloading software that got a full uncorrupted download. TY WIZZ for the suggestion!!!! EFD on the way! No idea why I had so many problems. It started from day one and the DNA Torrent.. er.. virus program? (acts like one..)
I tried other torrent.. no luck...
At one point I seemed to get a good download but then installed and got odd video card errors after it 'updated' itself. Again I think not all files downloaded correctly.
It's been an endless cycle of uninstall, clean pc... download.... errors.... redo it all again..... .... I don't think I EVER got a good download until tonight. I have no idea why the direct link wouldn't start for me using various browsers etc on different machines. Seems Zippo having same problem.

I've never seen so many problems with updates and downloads and installs than with your 'game'. Every time there's a problem across all systems, including the 'minor' problem with the small ' unimportant' video card manufacturer; Nvidia! We are not your beta testers! We are ppl that come to this community to make friends, play, maybe make money and overall try to have a good time.
Every time this happens!!! Shouldn't I as a consumer expect a to go to a site of an established program, click your install button and have it work?? Is that really asking to much??? There's serious problems with how you release things, a HUGE lack of information regarding the problems or no information at all. A consumer shouldn't have to go to a 'private' forum to determine the tricks and ways around your installation problems!! This is messed up!! Many many ppl have had problems with this. Not just me. Others still can't get in.
Did I bother writing your support? NO! Why? Because your 'copy/paste support messages that are usually useless are already posted here. They would have told me to un-install, use the link ( already provided in here) and the like that I already did. Overall it seems the problem was your company expecting us, the consumer to provide the server space for our downloads thru your DNA torrent. How unacceptable is that??
I have no idea where the download program pulled all the files from but it did seem to verify and check the download. Would it be possible for you guys to do this? Oh.. forgot.. you didn't provide the majority of the downloads... the community did!
It's now Damage Inc's 2nd anniversary. I usually rent an LA and invite all our DInc friends for fun, dancing and a hunting event. Right now I don't feel like doing anything but I certainly will for my soc mates. Dunno about the rest of it all. I'm tired of this.. totally disgusted with your continued inability to provide us with efficient, and working updates. I'm still wondering why a whole download instead of a small update. Doesn't seem to be that big of a change. Oh.. forgot.. the 'important' stuff like avatars and terrain graphics...

For those uber geeks..... I'm curious to know why when a person has a 'good' downloaded file on their PC and they burn it to share why yet again there's problems and decompression errors????? Is it because of the overall size of file? Organization of the file itself or??????

Funny how some of us... probably IMHO the vast majority of us... get along just fine... no problems downloading... no corrupted files.... No crashes... No equipment conflicts... find that support provides good clear answers... when there are problems and manage to encounter very few bugs of any real consequence...

By vast majority you mean the rest of 499 players who ever log ingame?
ANyways is normal when you think the possibilities : Different Windows, GFX ,CPU, Settings , Win Updates , Viruses or other security and Instability threats... makes a very hard to predict rig .

Well Just to let all the ones having problems know im a network engineer and well I have done a complete new install and well it keeps telling me i get logged off then boom try to log in and and it says avatar already logged in. To all of you so called geeks out there... Feel fortunate that you are not haveing any problems and also your trying to help us and at the same time trying to defend ma (cause your not having problems) is well not helpful lol. To all of you having problems... IT IS ma problem and yes they should fix it and probably will as soon as they realize we are not spending money at thier casino/game. GL all I have tried all of the above and still cant lose ped today, guess thats a ray of sunshine.

Yes I also have/had this issue on XP.
Needed to login a few dozen times before I could stay in. If you log out directly (alt F4 or not wait for timer) or have a failed login, it takes a minute before you're cleared out of server cache. It's quite common with online games imo. Keep trying is all i can say and try to empty your eu/temp folder.

I had NO PROBLEMS AT ALL until 10.5, since then, I always have some kind of trouble. Every update is a pain in the ass now
