Hello fellow entropians,

I was thinking for some time to start a journal and log my mining, hunting and crafting sessions to track my activity and journey in the game. I usually hunt and mine and I'm doing bad on crafting trying to figure it out what's up with 2-4% success rate on condition...

I was doing fine last year getting a 9k hof on halloween followed by a 2k mining hof that I've got with an unamped f-105 and I've looted a nice 1k worth blueprint crafting level 1 amp light. This were notable loots and I was also able to complete stage 6 mission galactica. Everything was fine until I sold the items I've had worked hard for in the past two years and something happened with my mind and literally started to click recycle blueprints and I was doing fine until I tried to get something big crafting more than 50 clicks on condition with only one success making me loose about 5k... since then I am trying to figure it out that success rate on dailies. However I had many hunting and mining hofs and a lot of good time doing what I love.

So, with this journal I want a fresh start and I will try to write daily between mining runs because they last like 12-16 hours, I'm doing about 600 drops/day and I gave up healing with my mod 2350 that I've also sold after I healed someone at dasps and he got a 50k hof and tipped me 100 ped saying it's a good tip, that was really disappointing and I've never healed and spoke with that one again (if team loot would be on my fair share should were around 1-2k).

This is it then, the log starts now! I have as gear an adj. a-3 amped with 20b and I also use 240 recon amped with mayhem alpha and I heal with a Hedok SK-50 Adjusted... as mining gear I use terramaster 5 with level 1 or 2 amps and I will try to level up and use level 3 amps (my first 570 drops with level 3 was a near success ). I have to downgrade to terramaster 3 when I will go on arkadia due to low level treasure hunter and I would love to raise some skills in that profession too. I'm almost level 60 laser sniper and level 30 prospector and surveyor with crafting being a little ignored and I'm level 15 on majority of professions there.

My budget is pretty gone since the end of last year, this is why I want this fresh start but I'm doing regular little deposits like I always did having a subscription approach to entropia regardless of my in game balance, regardless if I win or lose in a month as long as I am able to play.

Here we go, my first log!

I started yesterday after the patch by continuing hunting some primordial longu to complete rank 8 and achieve rank 301 in attributes that rewarded me with some intelligence, I'm at 110 now, a milestone as it changed the rank. I had a nice 123 ped global on a provider that filled the gap and replenish my shrapnel.

After I finished with them daily missions kicked in and I've got basic pattern pants and force nexus so I did the crafting mission first 30 clicks on condition with a nice outcome, 6.7% success rate that made it a profitable daily. As much as I hate nexus especially when I get a mission for it I had to mine for a friend in need so I got it mostly from Shinook River land area and some other places... no big levels so I had to drop 249 times to complete the mission.

Total drops yesterday were 460 amped with level 2 and I've got back 1090 ped in resources so you do the math on the run if curious in the process I've hit a level 13 erdorium that worth 53 ped and a level 14 caldorite that worth 122 ped... overall it wasn't a profitable run...

We will see how I will do on today run, I got iron daily and I will do 600 level 1 double drops. Cheers!

Yesterday I faced Monria revenge! Read about that in the post...

I started the day with daily mining on iron and i was doing very well getting a level 13 worth 63 ped of it, completing the mission very fast. I was thinking to do monria mining daily next and I got zoldenite for which i dropped 240 times to complete with very low hit rate and I send almost 200 ped back in the pool, this was the revenge for the 819 ped hof I've had on 29 January when I did something unexpected because I had ammo and I started to kill all the big yogs around and mine under them so it was well protected under two abyss persecutors or vacuity of perforation... 29 and 30 january were two awesome days.

In the evening I also got new dailies, a bonus mining and Jester crafting mission which I completed with 58 clicks on condition with an outstanding success rate of 1.7%, can you imagine that? I had some near successes so wasn't a big loss but I ended the day booking a 240 ped loss on the entire 600 drops run including crafting... at least was fun and now I have 90 daily tokens, enough for a new 240 recon.

It's funny how this numbers match, I use 240 recon for big mobs, I dropped 240 times for zoldenite and I've sended 240 peds back in the pool. Ha!

After all this, last night I went to Cyrene to get my biology skills which were unavailable yet anyway and I felt asleep there so I woke up this morning and killed about 600 Merfolken for Zorra completing rank 22 on them and culled some more Zeladots to keep the pandemic in check (about 800 points). All ended as badly as it can sending about 180 peds in the pool from cyrene. I don't know how many merfolkens I have to kill more because the only counter I have is from the test of faith mission (35000/40000) but i guess at least 5-6000.

Todai I just received Scaboreas, Alicenies and Metal Plating so it will be a mixed day, I have two level 2 amps some uni ammo and by evening I will need new finder. I think I will get a terramaster 3 next because I want to go on Arkadia and treasure cap my skills for triple drops.

End of the day update...

Scaboreas were fun and I just acknowledge that some Neconu were around if someone want to hunt them on untaxed ground, however, they were poor and along with defending expenses until i finished the mining amps I ended up with 73 ped worth of loot from 160 ped uni ammo. Mining on Calypso today was not far in results from hunting and from 268 ped run I got back 175 ped in resources.

Crafting metal plating was even for the day with an improved success rate of 7.2% for 111 clicks.

I decided to abandon the Alicenies daily and I bought a TerraMaster 3 and went to Arkadia where I had a 587 ped run mixing a level 1 amp with a 2 and 3 I found a level 14 florican mist and a level 13 telfium that made the entire run pretty even so was good and I made a lot of skills. Prospecting went up to level 32, Surveyor to level 31 and Treasure Hunter to level 16.

Obviously I couldn't refrain to go to fortune teller and she told me that I will have a great time hunting Scoria so I did hunted about 40-50 of them and guess what? fortune teller was wrong... worst run on Scoria ever, sending exactly 200 ped in da` pool but I completed rank 4 and trust me, hunting them almost naked in Frontier with Serpent Plates was not an easy task. Maybe next time will guess the fortune right and will not push me to the limits

So I am back where I was in at the beginning of January when I started mining with a terra 3 and 300 ped worth of probes... since then I went up to almost 2000+ ped with a little real life help, I think I made 4 deposits summing 800 peds but this beginning of February took all back and it started to happen after the Arkadia event just for the record.

I think I will just mine and do daily crafting for a while but I have to complete some ranks that are next in line and are big bets for me: rextelum, atrox and formicacida - about 100 of each... if I do that I will get another strength point, I'm at 65 now pretty low because i don't use melee.

Good morning everyone!

Not so long ago i sold all my armatrix weapon blueprints to someone that's crafting stuff thru a third party connection so we found each other this way and I told him that I mine and mine and mine so we made a deal and he buy all my mining loot at 104% as bulk no matter what I find and yesterday he gifted me with two non-full tt amps worth 58 ped so I had a little fun mining with them. I don't want to disclose his name but I'm very grateful for the partnership...

After I sold the mining loot I went mining again for narcanisum and garcen and I competed daily as usually dropping about 350-400 times with and without amps until I found a level 14 of oil worth 85 ped that made the mining run pretty even. So I'm not only following my interests but I have to take care of fulfilling my "secret agent" orders which are not hard to accomplish.

I skipped daily on combustor because mining for narc i didn't found all the belkar I needed so I went on monria in the evening and took the daily crafting mission for 75 pec engineering which I completed on caly crafting about 1300 clicks on basic auxiliary system.

Today I woke up very early at 3 in the morning so I had another rounds of dailies and I already completed nexus and level 1 amp light missions so I can mine freely after trader needs but I have to hunt 90 daikiba and I also wish to hunt them and have a little fun...

So... yesterday I went and hunted that 90 daikiba and I forgot to watch what's happening on entropialife where a huy named Ash had 33 almost consecutive globals near fort troy, where I arrived he was just leaving and of course he took all the hunting loot from the area so I ended up with a little loss on a mob that I have on repeat. My bad, at least I could have gone to another location...

Anyway I went mining on a 300 level 1 double drops run and I found a lot of iron claims, a level 14 narcanisum worth 99 ped and a level 13 belkar worth 70 ped and was an awesome profit mining day with a lot of fun included because the crafter I told you about ordered iron, narc and belkar and I was going specifically after that resources and belkar played hide and seek with me, I had to switch about 4-5 locations until I found the level 13.

I crafted my auxiliary system as part of monria quest and I will continue to do so until the blueprint qr will be 100 and I skipped combustor daily again because I had to deliver belkar, I will see what I will get today.

Today mining challenge is magerian mist so it's a hard one expecially because I will go unamped and even if I know where to find it the amount of claims I have to get is huge so we will see if I can complete until the next daily kicks in... maybe I will get a big claim of magerian, that will be something memorable.

On Sunday morning I had to use our Dark Matter TT Service to sell my mining loot because my guy had some real life work to do which is nice also, Lucho have a record of selling my bulk hunting/mining loot for about 103.5% after refining and auction fees cost. I switched magerian daily for garcen and I said in my mind, okay let's be efficient and complete this one so I bought two level 5 amps and I was mining for enmatter only extracting that 500 garcen in about 100 drops so one amp will be enough (note to myself) and I plan to do the same for magerian.

I sometimes fill orders on auction and I've looked and sold all the garcen for 111% as I needed ped to roll, however was not such a mining day so I entered in hunting mode going for atrox first that halved my ammo stash because they were mean but I went to hunt rextelum that droped a global and formicacida that droped an unlimited item (fap-80) and I was back to atrox to take my revenge and first provider I've done was a global also. To get my strength point I had to complete a rank on traeskeron too and they also dropped a global being able to play all day thanks to Lootius.

As a conclusion Sunday was very enjoyable counting 5 hunting globals that made up for the bad mining results.

Finally this morning I sold all my loot and I'm prepared for a new mining run which will be a 600 ped one having daily on caldorite and I have about 10 hours to complete it before my next meeting with my crafter which is plenty of time to take some breaks too.

So why do I need strength? Because I really like the Aakas Fire Dagger and I want one for defense while I mine in more dangerous places but I have to skill more so I'm thinking at doing some Arret runs with the frontier knife until I repeat codex on them that will also count for test of faith mission that really require a lot of kills - 200000 kills for a complete cloth set with goggles and coat (I'm close to complete stage 3 boots).

Off I go to my own business, I will report back tomorrow after I complete this 300 double drop mining run, sell the loot and repeat.

680 drops were done since yesterday with mixed results, I found a level 14 megan and a level 15 lysterium but something odd happened on planet as I started to get lyst instead of other resources I looked for which was a little frustrating... was like someone really mined that places a lot and everything transformed.

maybe was me grinding the same places every few hours but i doubt it because i use to do this and resources don't usually transform like that.

I want to note in this post that I don't want to make all this journal about profit and loss, this is not why I play for so i will stop counting it but I will continue to share what I do and not really how I do.

I acknowledge that Monria Valentines Event will be this weekend and I will try to attend focusing on completing one more rank on yogs taking it from 20 to 21 and maybe drop a few probes to compete for the 200 ped prize. who read this and want to participate you should know is enough to come on monria and hunt/mine as the team will track globals and hofs using entropialife (and maybe internal systems) and will contact you after if you won a prize:

- 200 ped prize on each mob (shoggoth, yog, cultist and shub) - highest single loot wins

Nice. Maybe at end of each post add "notable finds" where you jist add globals and hofs higher than 50 or 100 peds.
