Month Summary
January has been a bit of a slower month skilling wise for me. Lots going off in RL and preparing to return to work after paternity leave too.
I tried out a few additional methods I thought could be good MU opportunities, generally higher tier mobs with decent MU and drop rates on them. I think from the data I have gathered they could well be good, but not with the current gear I’m using to hunt them. I need to acquire A LOT more hp’s or a decent UL armour set to remove (L) armour MU from the equation. I could also do with more DPS to help with both life leach and mitigating the regen on some of them. This would also improve my cycle time in general and open more opportunities for MU overall. I’d like to have rectified this by the time migration comes around again as Eomon hunting was fun last year! I’ve got ~60 levels to go and I should have gained a significant number of HPs by the time I hit this goal too, putting me in a good position all round.
With all this in mind, my focus is switching back to skilling up towards using a Mod-Nano and achieving a higher level in looter skills overall. I have everything I need to be able to achieve this it’s just a matter of time spent now. I’ll be reverting to my previous skilling routine with the usual dailies thrown in to help mitigate skilling “losses”. I’ll also be exploring more options mob wise considering HP/Lvl ratio and codex rewards available on them. Codex should help me get my looter up quicker and stamina etc. too.

I did achieve one of my long-term goals this month too. I started to stream on twitch and just wanted to say a huge thank you to the community, both viewers and streamers who have supported me in already achieving affiliate status with Twitch and to
@Socrates|Mindark for accepting my application to the Creators’ Club. I’ll be developing the stream further to make it more entertaining to be part of, so I expect to be back up and running shortly! It’s been a blast meeting more people from the game and some potential players too! I’ll look to produce some videos for YouTube in the future too, I’ve got a few ides cooking I just need some more free time.
Short term goals for this month are to try to hit 100+ Swords Hit/DMG, hit 60 Animal/Mutant Looter unlocking scientist and scavenger for a nice looter boost and to gain as many HP’s as possible along the way. Oh, and of course to try to achieve this with as little damage to my bankroll as possible!

My cycle should significantly increase this month and hopefully I get as lucky as I did in January with my dailies again, as this soaked up a huge portion of potential “losses” with the MU received. TT loss was a little below where I was expecting, but given the low amount of loot events, high volatility mobs I hunted at times and still low looter skills I wasn’t surprised either. It was my choice to hunt bigger, and it reflected in my returns. This has been a great month for me, albeit slow on the skilling front. I learnt a lot about my current limits and what I need to achieve to get to the next level and confirmed that I’m starting to understand the flow of the game more. It’s the first month I’ve really felt that given more time I can 100% reach the golden profitability goal that initially drew me in to Entropia Universe. Whilst I was of course expecting to enjoy Entropia when I first started, I’m not sure I could have foreseen how much I would grow to love it. This game isn’t just a game to me anymore; it’s now become a personal challenge to see how far I can go!
Ps. I’ll be trying to capture some more images to liven things up for future posts too. I didn’t have any noteworthy globals or HoF’s worth posting this month, but hopefully we will see some more in February!
