Tsuki's Entropia Journey - From 0 to 100 and beyond!

May I ask what dailies you are doing? I assume ARIS based on the catalysts; are you doing any of the AI dailies as well?
Yeh of course, I make time to do Aris everyday (Collecting mats for a potential Mod/Aug set eventually, still undecided). If I need a break from skilling I will do some of the AI dailies too. I like hunting Rextelum as I can double dip on the Rextelum Hunter quest progress, so usually will do the SK island one. Depending on how they cross over each other on the day I might do TI, Fort and Umbras etc. too. Again double dipping using the Leviathan Hunter quest when they pop up in the missions. If I wasn't so focused on skilling up at the minute I'd definitely spend more time on them.

Not sure if you shared your twitch name in here but would like to drop in every now and then and follow your progress!!

I didn't drop it in actually probably should have, I'm still in the middle of setting everything up now that I have more options available.

Twitch Name: TsukiRyoku

Feel free to drop by anytime, anyone is welcome! Hoping to be back up and running next week :)

Great Master Swordsman Achieved!

Month Summary

I had a much better month in February skilling wise, back on the grind and enjoying pumping up those skills! I achieved 100 Swordsmanship Hit and Dmg which felt great, hit 50 Dodge, got up to 288 HP’s and am extremely close to the level 60 looter unlocks! March is going to be a big month for milestone completion! It’s crazy looking back to the start and thinking my first Great Master was going to be a long way off, 2 x Great Master wasn’t even in my mind as achievable, but here I am 9 months in, already eyeing up the big 150 ahead of me! I’m now wondering if I can achieve this within a year! It’s one of the things I really like about Entropia Universe; there’s always another goal waiting for you after achieving the last!

I’m toying with pushing down the fast route to get the final 45-50 levels I need in swordsmanship. It’s no secret that Flesh Rippers are quick to skill on and I did test them the back end of this month, the MU is almost non-existent, but the gains were quick. I would expect larger impact to overall returns than I’ve had so far, so just weighing up the cost vs the opportunities I would be able to jump in on earlier should I choose this route. I can stomach a temporary dip if it brings the opportunity for more MU and general gains forward. I might just do a mixed month of MU and fast skilling to balance things out, we shall see.

I want to give a big shout out to @Evey, @Shilda, @Nanashana, White Fantasy Jenna and BKK (sorry I couldn't find your forum names) for the awesome Queen Run! I really enjoyed it, it was fun to see some actual boss mechanics in Entropia and finally got my Regicide Coat! They were all very welcoming and made it very easy to know what to do when. We (They :ROFLMAO:) absolutely smashed the Queen without a hitch too, so thank you all for the super smooth run! Highly recommend this great team should you ever want to get a regicide coat too! I forgot to take an image in my excitement so here's the best I have right now.

I see a lot of complaints about the loot system and its volatility, but I’m finding sticking to a high volume of low-cost kills is really showing the results I’m expecting to see. It was great to see my tracker start volatile, then gradually working its way to almost exactly where I expected most of the month and ending slightly above expected value. It’s reinforced my initial thoughts on the law of large numbers being a big factor in achieving your expected value. I know I’m probably not an average cycler and it could be definitely be more forgiving earlier on in an avatars life, but it does seem to work as expected so far! I didn’t get any big HoF’s this month and honestly enjoyed the consistency and predictability it brought to my hunting. They’re nice when they happen don’t get me wrong, but I value consistency more than a quick dopamine rush when it comes to returns. (This obviously excludes any potential big item drops; that’s one rush I do look forward to someday!) Consistency means I can plan ahead and know that provided I find enough MU to cover the gap, I can achieve my goal of break even and even profit. There’s MU out there and once my looters are higher, I think a profitable year is within the realms of possibility, fingers crossed!

Overall, I think this might be my best month yet not just returns wise, but enjoyment wise. I had a bit of a gap in milestones to push myself through, but it’s a big motivator to have so many big hitters on the horizon. I’m excited to get started, I will hit over 300 hp’s, get my level 60 looter unlocks and a big chunk of progress towards the remaining 50 levels of Swordsmanship out the way. I’ll be in a good position to participate in the upcoming events at a much better level too!

Let’s see what March has in store!

Great job on the progress 👏 ... glad to see someone actually gets proper returns. Even tho lux is half joking there it is weird how we are the same looter, with same 90% EFF, hunting same tiny skill mobs (majority of $ spent)etc. But I'm at 92.4% return on a million ped cycled -80k since i started tracking. So I'm wondering what the difference must be? Only thing I can figure is 2x cycle in the month so maybe has to be higher spend to reach it or new account (maybe less volatility 1st year) because I highly doubt I'll be getting a 35k pedder hunting a puny haha. Unless you don't count armor decay in spent or something? Keep up the good work and you better get to 100 looter this first year incase the new acct theory is actually real 😄

It could all change yet... but definitely a good month returns wise, honestly not expecting it to continue this way! I really don't have much to compare it with so far, but if it helps the day after I posted this I swung straight down to 93%, continuing in a downward trend for the first 25k cycle . I'm interested to see the consistency in returns this month to give us some more numbers to compare. I don't hunt puny mobs, I usually hunt high level/ low hp mobs whilst skilling up, currently with 85.6% Efficiency, 3.6-3.7 DPP depending on if I forgot to reuse a candy cane or not and just below 60 looter. It's all in the multi's by the look of it so far, either chains of smaller multi's or the odd meaty global/small HoF. Just from observation it seems the lower threshold of my average multi has lifted as looter has grown, but at the minute I don't have enough data to draw any accurate conclusions. Once we have this months results I'll do a 3 month breakdown so we can see the actual average for the first quarter of 2026. Armour Decay is counted in (less than 1k across the month off hand), it's not a huge amount as the mobs I hunted for the majority of the month can barely hit me before I kill them and even then I dodge 60% of their attacks. This month will be different as the mobs will be slapping the crap out of me while my evader catches up haha. I'm not sure I'll hit 100 looter within a year, but I will push as high as I can get it haha! Good luck in your hunting! 😁

We seem to be doing pretty much the same thing albeit you at double my pace. The difference is huge between just cycling blindly and giving it a bit of attention and math. For everyone reading this, notice how his average cost to kill is below 3 PED despite high levels.

Instances do a lot of heavy lifting. I cut down my Aris cycle a bit but still grab 6 vouchers a day, that is over 400 ped every month. Cats are a big bonus too.

I'm going to note down a horrible week unless I hit big today or tomorrow but not in the least worried looking back at the whole year.

You passed up my progress in a hurry. Awesome stuff. I wanted to ask if you could share since I saw it in the original post that you trained a Tezlapod. I just bought one partially leveled. Wanted to know what strategy you used to train it? I've heard of people simply having it out all the time and no tricks. Thanks.

Most eco you do tricks whenever he is above 95% and stop once it drops below 90%. For time unlock pet focus generation and spam the shit out of it. When you go to sleep open crafting terminal with pet spawned and leave the game on

Having it out all the time will take an absolute age to level it. The Guide @Rimmer linked is a good read and I pretty much did what @WhiningSkeptic said. Tricks until 90-95% focus then wait for it to hit 100% again. It takes a while, but It did work out quite a bit cheaper than buying a pre levelled one at the time. Great tool to have too, electrotherapy is really nice to have and the crit damage is always useful 😁

is it possible to progress this fast without botting ?
Absolutely, I am just fortunate enough to be at home and in front of my computer for a good portion of the week (was the entirety of the week in 2025). Mob selection plays a huge part in skilling, there is a drastic difference in skill gain speed related to the HP/Lvl of a mob, due to the skill gain check received on kill. I try to hunt around 10-12 hours a day when I can, sometimes more if time allows. This path isn't for everyone by the way and you could probably do it even faster if you wanted to! I would only encourage someone to follow this path if they have a clear goal in mind and a good reason to chase it! It can certainly test your resilience at times... as well as your ped card if you aren't careful with mob selection ! For me it allowed me to open up a lot of MU opportunity for the future and got me to the DPS level I needed to be able to capitalise on it. It was then clear that HP's and defence skills are the best first line of defence and I also wanted more DPS so swordsmanship made sense next! Hope this helps :)

This is why melee is underrated imo

First time I read this I thought I had lost my mind got mad déjà vu I thought I was Neo from The Matrix

You did the same?
I could not place the name but as time passed I realized I was not insane, maybe a little bit but after a little while I remember name was a little different two years ago in TWIN event. Anyway, now my only question is why start again, but why do anything I guess at this point

People are clearly getting a little bored in here, so figured I would do a quick update as I've just passed last months cycle. It should be a nice comparison point for us returns wise and can show us how much loot can swing within a month. I am currently experiencing a dip in returns, so provides a decent snapshot to show how a month can progress. I'll look to do the same in 10 days time and then round the month up with a 3rd update. I've just hit 110 swords hit and 110 swords damage too so a good checkpoint. Currently averaging around 1.2 levels per day, I'm hoping this will increase slightly as I'm hoping to be able to borrow a Superior TWEN coat shortly.

Quick summary of cycle this month so far:

Mobs killed: 68,626

Avg. cost: 3.4 ped

Avg. DPS: 276

Total Spent: 233503.82

TT Return: 217,065 ped

TT Return %: 92.96%

Return with MU: 219096.07 ped

Return with MU %: 93.83

Total “Loss”: 14,407.75 ped

This month I decided to go as fast as I could skilling wise. 100-150 using my previous method is going to take somewhere between 3 and 4 months to complete and due to up coming IRL work pressures and general time constraints over this period, it would realistically be more like 6 months. I want to try and get this done and get geared up to enjoy some events this year, so I've chosen to take the fast route rather than the smart route. It will also serve as a fairly decent data set to see what happens when you don't chase MU.

I'll be grinding skills out on flesh rippers, living vortex and potentially some other codex mobs along the way to help boost hp's as I'm on the verge of hitting 300 hp's now too. I am fully expecting to lose more than usual this month and have calculated based on EV that I stand to lose somewhere between 30k and 35k during the process. I'm not too worried about this as it gets me to my goal faster, ready for any events coming up and I am confident I can make this back over the rest of the year through trade and MU hunting.

As you can see from the numbers above, the MU available on these mobs is terrible at best, the local market demand most definitely can't handle the amount of materials I'm producing and so I'm forced to ship/teleport them back to Calypso, which honestly isn't proving to be hugely worthwhile after travel costs, time lost etc.

With me increasing my cycle so much this month, I was interested to see what impact a single player could potentially have on the current market. So I took the monthly average sales on Calypso and used this to get daily average sales amount. The figures below show what percentage of the most abundant loot on flesh rippers I am producing daily, just as 1 player grinding hard:

Animal Thyroid Oil 44% of daily sales = 2.8k of 6.3k
Animal Eye Oil 44% of daily sales = 2.8k of 6.3k
Animal Adrenal Oil 32% of daily sales = 2.5k of 7.9k
Animal Oil Residue 77% of daily sales = 0.75k of 0.97k

Shrapnel on this particular mob only makes up 28.6% of the loot received, so it's only natural a large number of oils are generated, but it was interesting to see what I am producing vs market demand. It would only take 3 players grinding skills this hard to saturate the current daily demand! With the current oil and nanocube prices I would honestly prefer more shrapnel to drop :ROFLMAO:

Returns are currently bleak, but I'm only 1/3 through the month and there's still plenty of time for an upswing back to EV. Based on my current looters and the efficiency of my weapon, I'd hope I will finish the month close to the 96% mark, but time will tell! My cost per kill has increased slightly, so expecting to need more loot events than usual to hit average.

I don't have the bankroll to support doing flesh rippers so I have been clearing codexes and doing a bunch of Carabok and Ubo (almost there now). The lack of markup makes a huge dent in the returns since there isn't any active market on any other planets than Calypso. I expect to continue losing (albeit at a slower pace than you) but should be able to hit my skill goal soon at which point I will start making it back by being able to double my DPS with great eff. I appreciate that the yearly numbers are growing since that lets me "afford" bad runs. I lost 300 ped on an AI mission yesterday but it had a <0.1% impact on the overall so wasn't any issue to go to bed.

I am thinking of sharing my numbers too but perhaps it is best if only one MA plant at the time does so in order to not overwhelm the community.

Also I tried to grab the very same coat from him before you but looks like I will be done by then.

The impact on the market is insane. I hope player base can recover at some point.

Confirmed, to be the second MA plant. :ROFLMAO:
Shrapnel on this particular mob only makes up 28.6% of the loot received
This why I avoid other planets.. Too shitty loot composition. The other PP's have to pay for the 1% shrapnel conversion. So we're likely to always have it like this.
Little do they realize, if they made drop rate shrapnel at higher ratio (90% or smt), it would be a motivation to grind those mobs even more besides the skill gain.

The impact on the market is insane. I hope player base can recover at some point.
I'm honestly not sure I do either the rate this is going! Wasn't expecting such a heavy swing in the opposite direction, but we'll see how it flows, still not over 100k loot events yet and we all know how quickly things can change! Worst case I'll just pivot back to recovery mode for a bit and go slow again. It's great to know even if you take a big hit on a run, when you blend it into your wider results it's actually just a drop in the ocean, really helps keep perspective on things right!

I'd like to see your numbers too, it would be good to get more data out there!

Confirmed, to be the second MA plant. :ROFLMAO:

This why I avoid other planets.. Too shitty loot composition. The other PP's have to pay for the 1% shrapnel conversion. So we're likely to always have it like this.
Little do they realize, if they made drop rate shrapnel at higher ratio (90% or smt), it would be a motivation to grind those mobs even more besides the skill gain.

The loot composition is less than desirable for long term hunting on some of the mobs. I didn't realise that PP's had to pay for shrapnel conversion, surely that would be a good thing as more people would cycle there as you say?! Is there any info out about this, I've not heard this before?

I do like some of the missions on Cyrene, the epic's look pretty good! That stable assassinator looks like a great weapon, hell of a cycle to get there though. Maybe something for the future 😁
