Those are excellent points Bender, and for just about any small business, I would say bravo.

Sometimes survival is all you can achieve.

Most games that are deemed dead by a lot of the community do in fact go out of business. The MMO death spiral is a real thing.

This game has hung on far longer than it should due to the 'sunk cost fallacy' being in fact, a reality.
I agree and fully understand what you meant on your previous comment.

Putting ethics aside and looking from a business perspective, this is a core in their business model, and I still think they are doing great in keeping it alive.

All joking and trolling aside

If they don’t manage to launch UE5 or when they do it fails. Then it could be then end, it will bankrupt MA.

While we are all here joking around this really is make or break for the company
I disagree... if CE2 was no longer maintainable then maybe... but they keep changing stuff in Crytopia so clearly it is. If at the end of the day they decide UnTropia isn't worth continuing with, they still have the same game they always had, and the same players and the same income.

When you think about it, there's very little actually riding on them moving the engine.

PS also agree with those that say it's impressive MA managed to keep kicking all these years. So many MMO's died.
