Info: Upcoming Changes: Ashi and Orthos Oil Rig

PvP would be better with:
Capture the flag
Team death match
Battle royale
Domination
Kill confirmed
Capture headquarters.
Plant the bomb

Can't believe people still want old fashioned oil rig.
All those mentioned above is better PvP implement those and I would stop playing call of duty and play it in Entropia.

There's a pvp zone they could potentially make for most of those "types" of pvp you described, instance based certain amount of players can join at once.

I think it would be epic too if they one day add hitboxes for different parts of player so that you can do extra damage like for headshots and less damage if you hit the feet for example.
There's an insane amount of potential for Entropia, the problem is that they're a small team with limited budget so everything they do takes time and is all a matter of a priority which the powers that be @ MA HQ, decide.

But can you imagine if we had Counter-Strike 2 type of pvp gameplay quality with ability to earn real money from killing players? All they'd need then is a good viral video about Entropia's amazing pvp gameplay potential and ability to earn money to attract thousands of new players ;)

Hello,

As a recurring RIG player and an intermediate-level one, I’d like to share my opinion: please don’t keep giving us more disadvantages — it’s already really tough. There are Ubers who can close the RIG for hours, using weapons like the Mayhem Nano-Blade (Modified), and not even five intermediate players can handle them.

Secondly, it would be more fun to tweak some mechanics — for example, letting characters crouch to dodge bullets, and making headshots always critical hits since it’s harder to aim there.

Thanks for reading my humble opinion. Hugs :3

That would be great in a perfect world honestly. The problem for MA would become fighting cheaters, a problem that plagues cs2. MA would not be able to handle it. Thats coming from a CS player that would love nothing more than to dumpster all the ubers in pvp. Could probably quit my job if MA implemented that and kept cheaters under control, assuming anyone participated after their avatars could no longer carry them. There are probably people cheating in the current state, which is incredible to think about when you realize how incredibly low the mechanical skill ceiling is in this games pvp.

You just have to go to Sisyphe camps you can do them there

Ive seen 3.5k elos players try pvp in this game and tbh,,,, they cant move and shoot.

increase the number of drops rather than the value of each drop. 5 drops of 10 would be better than one of 50

Notice how no one answered your question. >_< :D,
There seems to be some sort of cycles and there also seems to be a large number of players hwo are familiar with these cycles.

I say this because I've stood over there when no one is there for 3 times now for 4 hours with NO DROPS, and I had at least 10 people tell me, "The rig won't start dropping oil here again for several hours." or "Your going to be here for a long time, the rig won't start dropping again anytime soon"

Although MA doesn't announce that the RIG isn't dropping or won't be dropping or even any information on allotted time sets. It seems some players have found a pattern. But yeh, that was really annoying.
I stuck around because I didn't believe that they could have known something like that, let alone so soon. But eh, maybe someday.

When you've been standing at the rig for many many years, you know the ins and outs. There are many who knew Ashi very well before this change, myself being the one who likely has most hours at Ashi throughout this version of the rig's history. We noticed immediately when it stopped dropping at certain hours. After a few weeks we had specific times plotted.
