Certain. Doing the big hogglos, dasps, etc is counting as per each team member's input.
 
They are obviously oriented towards medium and above level players. This new system comes to answer an issue we've been reporting for a while, lack of incentive to hunt. With these missions, hunting is almost mandatory, because they're pretty good imo. This new system tackels several issues, with continuous cycle, it's not required to introduce game changing gear as reward, as long as they throw a few bones in those rewards while also helping a bit the share owners, since the shares were going through a rough period. There are ofc improvements to be made, but this system is looking good for the long run of the game.

Spawns have improved a bit but they're still too thin, for lower levels, it's ok to have the lower maturity as a thin spawn, but for higher levels, you can easily pup up those numbers so we have even more dense spawns for allos, esto, furors, fresco, etc. All mobs, except Hogglos, Hogglo stalkers are OK :D

I think rares not showing as a hof is an oversight and I hope they tackle that and along with it, remove the very low level rings, like aeglics and change it so that it says: "Player XYZ claimed a daily reward and found a rare item (...) / Player XYZ opened a strongbox and found a rare item (...)

I think they should implement more of these and target the lower brackets of hunting but before that a good analysis is required to see the impact on the game.

To people that consider these to be too time consuming, you don't have to do all of them (or any for that matter). Just pick the smaller ones, or the more interesting ones. If it's too boring, do them with your friends, with your disciples to help them (the Jameson Reach one has lowest cost requirement I believe).

There is room for improvement, but for now, I find these exciting, I enjoy doing them, I even stream them and I think MA deserves a pat on the back for this one. If the NPCs are here to stay, I think they're good alternative to Mayhems or a good enough activity to complement all other events. They are a very good addition to the game.

I stopped playing over 10 years ago as the game seemed dead, and all my friends stopped playing too so I completely checked out. Wasn't much in the terms of rewards or incentives then, but after returning its great too see that Mindark has made a lot of good changes. I started completely fresh and love the fact we now have a codex rewards system, mentorship is back and everyone gets rewarded for it. Not only that but everyone can get a free Armour, Gun, FAP and Ammo by doing the starter missions chains. It would just be nice if everyone could be included sooner than later as some can't reap the rewards some of us are. As for myself I have been loving the missions I can do and thinks it's great for the players who can do these. Great step in the right direction and hopefully more too come in the near future.

Yeah great points! I think people seem to forget how barren the game was back then. Back in 2010 when I began it was as desolate as. Now there's literally an unlimited number of things you can do across all planets. So good. Just a few things atm that need tweaked to balance things out. But the sky will never not be falling to the entropia community, the games been dying for 20 years 😅

Might have been barren, but there was MU 🤷‍♂️

I like missions, lore codex and such but it only takes you so far untill you burn out on no MU. 😕
 
why did you remove the short path to the mission. "Mission y y" used to be enough before but how i hit a wall of text

"hunt mission" and "y" worked now. weird "fix" to a problem where players don't want AI crap to make it worse ^^
 
Still dont get the mission, no it doesnt pop up, no not on the bottom of the list, yes I know how to ask the NPC.
Mindark, come on!

Looks like there is a problem with the 32 and 64 bit version. I was in space mining without the tools option "Use 64 bit version" and once i changed it and i login in game i had 4 missions tracked on screen. How i found it well on discord someone asked me if i use 32 or 64 bit Windows version but then i looked at some screens i posted on discord to report the bug when i couldn't receive the missions and my client was in 32 bit lmao.
 
All for the addition too new daily missions, but even in a team some players arent getting these finished. Tried this with a few friends and some kept dying, Maybe 1 of the npc’s with lower lvl mobs would be a good addition. Will make everyone feel included, seeing as some of the bonus rewards are worth it. Plus some of the npc’s give you the same mob too hunt over and over again anyway so not much variety. Otherwise good job so far MA :)
These can be teamed? I've asked some in game, suggested that only the player that deals the most damage would progress, so even matching dps wouldn't work due to miss/crit rates. Can you, or anyone, provide any insight? I'd love to try to assemble a team for some that almost feel achievable.

My experience with new NPC, they don't remember me, they don't memorize me either, they give me each day task just for robots, the award is surreal. I won't take part in it.
 
Where is the timer? Came back later to finish the mission, got 90% through and it disappeared forever. Make the timer visible or at least give some warning..

When you do finish the mission, you need to have it visible on screen as you don't get a completion notice.

Where to hand it in? Try and make an educated guess as the NPC name is not on the mission and you don't get a marker. Total shit MA.

If some of the recent mentionings are correct, then ... ah, what's the point? I don't need virtual to be utterly amazed at how poorly some stuff is being done these days.
 
The AI NPC keeps giving same mission for days, even tho they write they need help with for example Atrox, Longu, ... i get Eviscerator, Trooper, Legionaires.

Guess its best to take a break from these missions
 
@Ludvig|MindArk hi, im just curious, do those daily tokens from these missions actually drop or are they there for decorrations ? all im seeing is uni ammo and fragments .... i've done quite a few of them since you guys implemented them but seems they are not dropping.....

Way over a month of dailies and Calypso loot pool seems to be empty. No 10k HOFs (used to be daily), average return has went noticeably down

Any words about MA's "pockets" @Ludvig|MindArk? How much UA have you paid out in total so far? My prediction is over a 1M easily (not from thin air, I believe?)

Started from 5% return as a reward, lowered to 3.5% for reason, pretty sure it will go to 0% soon lol

I have lower return too, but it may be only us, i have report from some friends that claimed TT profit, we may have just a bad period. I'm a little under 92% return for march. The 5% UA helped me a lot and i liked it. We must keep shooting i guess :)

At the start of the dailies, everyone was TT profit who did the dailies, but it has changed drastically by now. Even with recent change to 3.5% return as reward, most ppl should tt profit long term which should be impossible and is impossible as not in a million years MA is paying some extra from their own pockets lol

The rewards are wave based.

Its like a loot event, you can get rewards of varying sizes depending on when you turn it in or so it seems...

lol no, it is strictly based on the input you do during the mission. around 3.5% to be precise
