News: Update Regarding Core Balancing of Entropia

Yes EU might be niche and unique game.

Business wise it how ever does not matter what it is, it needs to make money that's all.

With shareholders now days that is even more important...

So after the lost orginal vision game had and all these years, clear lack of investment and work not to mention lack of passion.

Why do we still expect it to get better?

For me it is hope, false amount of it. I know MA will not change.

We get beaten down, yet we still find good in it and defend it, abuse that is*
No there are way more for them to consider than just make money, this is one that many don't know about
when they make suggestions or give critics and so on.

As shown in the view we do not then that it was a lottery. The impression we got when we played was that it requireda lot of of skill to kill monsters and get their " loot " .
If it had been just to buy weapons and ammo and then go out and kill monsters, but no knowledge or skill, it would have more resembled a lottery. It would then be classified as an advanced online casino games.
What we could see is the chance to decide which "loot" a monster has, but the fact that a fairly substantial knowledge and skill to kill monsters did then, that we did not consider the game in its entirety to be a lottery.

How to balance the game from that? Quite vague even though info MA got is probably a bit more detailed, but still?
Where to draw the line for what might be "too much"?

This is why I love this game, tards that think they know better than the company.

Pretending to be dumb goes a long way and is often used by smart people. Do you really think that they didnt know about the impact Resource Mayhem would create? Ok, lets say they didnt. Why would they then do it again, a couple months later?

Mindark aint stupid, you are.

You should read my poem on page 3, I keep saying this shit but no one listens and no one has faith. All they see if prices going down, but they have no idea about how a company or an economy actually runs. Shame, some of them are probably running their own companies too and still can't see shit. 😂😂😂

It's quite literally, this right now and has been since 2.0 tho back then there was MU lol. Know the meager MU and kill, mine or craft and still lose MU gains included.

Buy high effi gear skill up looter to 100lvl

Today there is much players with high looter and effi, so even that has increased volatily now. 🤦‍♂️

That's the gameplay loop. Really hard and complex. 🤔

I have GREAT doubts that AI will be able to solve the current issues. Honestly, I would've been happier with a huge marketing campaign for attracting new players. Maybe ask Celest AI how to achieve that? In any case, I guess we'll see. As someone else pointed out, at least they're doing/trying something.

Ya of course AI can't solve the balancing/resource sink issue. Unless AI is the game devs and they all got fired? Because the issue is making new craftable limited consumables a lot of the players will use. Is AI going to create a new armatrix style 90% EFF gun line and high powered limited crafted gun amp line with limited bps? Is AI going to develop new content/missions with a massive resource sink? I thought they were all human end things.

Our best hope is they added AI buzzword on there to attribute the human success to AI so they can keep getting an AI budget to play around with it. I'm convinced playing around with AI is to the devs, what this game is to us. Entertainment.

Why else keep AI when not a single player has any interest in it whatsoever and hiring 1 more human with the big AI budget would accomplish far more. Or at least use AI for things that can help the game such as identifying and punishing cheating/rule breaking autonomously. They did take a step in the right direction today with mayhem rewarding active gameplay so maybe they can edit this post and replace the buzzword with "hiring a loot balance manager" and take another step forward.

Thank you for the update Magnus! Nice to hear you guys are innovating with AI Agents. Sounds like a wise move in modern times. I'm sure it can easily get overwhelming without the help of AI.
