It means that the money came out of the loot pool, it wasn't out of the guy's inventory.

It's just like hoffing off a mob, you get 900 PED out of the loot pool, except in this case it wasn't a mob, but a person.

In pvp3 you get loot from the avatars inventory, and from the loot pool (the toxic shots pay for that). This loot's 900 PED wasn't from the avatar's inventory, but from the loot pool.

Oh... I had no idea you also got peds from the loot pool when pk'ing in PvP3.
