Hello Colonists!

After months of quiet development, it’s great to finally step out of the shadows and say Hello to you all!

Seeing so many of you diving into ARIS and exploring it is incredible. The response has exceeded our expectations, and we’re genuinely grateful for all the interest, feedback, and activity surrounding the launch. This is our first project in partnership with MindArk, and while it’s been under wraps until now, we’re proud to finally share it with you all. ARIS introduces new content, mechanics, and challenges, and this launch is just the beginning.

As with any release, there are things to iron out. We’re actively monitoring feedback and working to address issues as quickly as possible. Your input is key, and we’re committed to making ARIS the best experience it can be.

Thanks for the warm welcome!

are you guys a company? veteran players?

it'd be nice to have some information on who is behind, you know, so we can know where our PEDs go :p

Is this A.I or is this a real person responding?

Congratulations on the launch! Hopefully all goes well.

I was wondering if you're planning to add any repeatable (daily or maybe weekly) missions for crafting.

Hello!

Thank you so much for this thoughtful and heartfelt message—it truly means a lot to me. It’s been incredibly exciting to watch ARIS unfold, and your team’s dedication and creativity are clearly reflected in the quality of the experience. The world you’ve built is not only immersive and challenging but also full of potential, and it's already inspiring a great deal of engagement and curiosity among us Colonists.

The transparency you’ve shown in acknowledging the ongoing development and your responsiveness to community feedback are deeply appreciated. It’s refreshing to see such an open and collaborative approach, especially with a project that introduces new mechanics and content on this scale. Knowing that our voices are being heard and valued gives us even more reason to invest ourselves in ARIS and its future.

This launch feels like the beginning of something truly special, and I am excited to be on this journey with you. Congratulations again to you and the entire team—your hard work is clearly paying off, and we’re looking forward to seeing how ARIS continues to grow and evolve.

John Archer looks like a fictional character, and as such his postings are likely AI.
I'd bet MA testing their AI character on their AI run planet

You don't just build a planet without having played the game prior ... btw JA is fab in ST & gratz ofc

I'm enjoying it so far, some fresh takes and new dynamics.
I do not like the rebranded mobs overall. Aren't there any original ones?
As a new planet it looks exactly like the new islands. Same mobs i've killed 1000s times but red or different size.
That's my only feedback so far, I'd like more originals in the mix. Or original sounds.

GL!

Thank you so much! Well, we are indeed a company behind it, and we have a long history in Entropia. Not as long as many of you, but we've been around for a good while!

Why not both? John Archer is indeed fictional, but I am very much real! And it is possible this real person felt that some assistance was needed for such an important post 😁 <noting down to future self: "AI is not overly appreciated by everyone">

I'm just wondering where the marketing effort is to gain new players. Advertising to the existing playerbase is not what is needed here :)

There will be marketing efforts as well, we just thought it was nice to have the planet in place first :)

Congratulations on the launch! Hopefully all goes well.

Thank you so much! We are definitely not done with ARIS, this is just the first step! So that is definitely possible!

So yes you used A.I in this post? Will you continue to use A.I in all your responses? Is this a language barrier thing, is it an inability to articulate situation?

I’m just wondering if we’re going to get any genuine responses and actually learn about who this real planet partner and company is.

Nice to hear from you so promptly after the launch and glad to hear that you know the game well (I recognise the name! ;) )

Wishing you much success with the launch, there seems to be a lot of buzz about it from the players already. 🥳

Good luck with everything I will check it out shortly 😀. its 2 bad the usual bugs had to take place with blueprints dropping from crafting that werent supposed to etc... that everyone races to expecting some bug. I hope that didn't kill part of the economy if there is one. Hopefully there's not some TT item that possible to nanocube again this time lol.

Ps. I'm with everyone else on wanting to know more about the real you + company behind it when you get a chance pls. Thanks. GL

This is probably dumb but how do you get there? I flew to the 'aris space station' marker in space and nothing was there. (yes i downloaded the planet in the launcher)

Straight towards the planet(moon) itself

All the best for your venture! Some former players who have tried this before got themselves hurt pretty bad. Have a Plan B.

Cheers!

there is no sound on ARIS, have to go manualy into your options and disable re-enable it for it to work.
I fell through the ground multiple times. Only option is to drown yourself in the acidic water lol
Cant tp or fly? this is so annoying in getting to places.
Mobs are just re-skins of caly mobs? realy? we have to go hunt green proterons now and green atroxes?

I checked it out for a bit but in general seems like a wrose version of arkadia sooo I went back to Arkadia
Maybe i ll check out ARIS some more once they fix the flying, tp'ing and the numerous of other bugs

Question Mr. Archer. My Teleportation chips have been on the fritz since I arrived on ARIS. Do we know where the dastardly robots are who have been disrupting our teleportation technology? If we destroy them, then what are the chances our teleportation chips will function properly afterwards? Also, there seems to have been a planetwide sanction on air vehicles everywhere except for the space station transit zone (seems the old governor of Toulan has found his way onto another council). Without my teleportation chip or the ability to use my vehicles, navigating the ARIS planetside has been quite difficult and treacherous. I tried crossing the caustic water, but it nearly burnt my skin off! My legs feel like noodles from all the running and the caustic water has left me hairless. Can we expect more advanced transportation methods to be in place throughout ARIS in the future?

Is this ARIS thing where the Cummingtonite Ore was first discovered, and if so, if someone actually taking the piss with this name? Or was it meant as a joke? I for one love the name of the ore hence was curious who named it, too bad I'll never step foot on this ARIS thing whatever it is. I barely find the mood to go to the other planets/moons these days let alone a new one. Good luck tho.
