However, my fears are not at rest totally. Have watched the blog type movies on the transformersmovie.com site it emerges that soundwave isn't in it along with the little cassette robot and they made Bumblebee a friggin' camaro or whatever. wtf! He's a VW Beetle, always chuffing has been!!

Ah well. Still looks like an awesome movie to go see.

Apparently Volkswagen refused to allow one of their products to be associated with war, whether it be real or fantasy They originally had soundwave planned but felt the development of the character felt more like that of Frenzy, and so shelved Soundwave till something more appriopriate comes along... Some of these big corporations are lame, are they not. Take the vehicles used on one of the best console driving simulations ever released (ban rule #15 damnit.) They couldn't include damage because the manufacturers they had on board didn't want to show their cars in such a state. !!! It's a game for crying out loud. lol
