What hardware do you play on?

My rig sucks compared to all of yours, I just grabbed an off-the-shelf ASUS ROG desktop computer at Staples for like $1700 Canadian and called it a done deal...

Windows 10 Home Edition
i7-7700 CPU @ 3.60 GHz
16.0 GB of DDR4 RAM
64-bit OS, x64-based processor
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 w/8GB

But I do have it hooked up to my 55" SONY Bravia HDTV in the living room and it works great!

I don't play anything else other then Entropia so for now I don't see the need for anything better.

I've been building my own gaming rigs since the 90s. If you're a hardware nerd like me, this stuff interests you. So, I'm wondering what other hardware people play on while playing Entropia Universe and any other games you're in to.

I built my current rig at the end of 2018. At the end of 2019 I upgrade the processor and graphics card, and increased the memory. Here's the current spec list with a picture of my setup below:

omg these spam bots... seriously...

Here is the rig I built in early 2019: NZXT i200 mini-ITX case, Asus ROG Strix z390-i MB with a i7-9700K & RTX 2080 connected to a Samsung C34J791 34" 100hz monitor playing @ 3440x1440... its a pretty quiet setup with the CPU and vid card being water cooled.

Ryzen 5 2600X
16 Gb DDR4 3200 mhz Memory
1 Tb Nvme SSD
Geforce 970 GTX (Just waiting on the new generation of GPU's to get back in stock)

System works great, the GPU done a great job since 2014, but its about time it gets changed :)

Apart from entropia I only play indie games that don't need much power, and use it as a programming environment for making 8-bit games, so I just made a 2nd hand system:

i5-4460S
gtx 1050TI
16gb ram
120gb ssd boot drive
120gb ssd backup
2x500gb for ripped dvds, photos etc.

I had an R7 250 in it but a mate gave me the 1050ti for fixing his machine after he upgraded to 1060. I used to build machines and sell them on ebay so had a few drives laying about which is why I have 4 in the machine instead of 1 or 2. I would also have been happy with 8gb but the MB had 4 slots and I had cheap 4gb sticks so I just filled them up for no particular reason.

Nerd power ! )

nice rigs.

Had a piece of melamine on top of these filing cabinets and upgraded to the worktop for the motorized desks, which is a bit bigger and nicer than my ghetto desktop before.
