My first&last deposite was 3 years ago at start. Just becouse i don't want to lost my mind on sweating :laugh:. And thats all, no more money for MA, i buy most of i need and earn all what i need in game and i'm not a trader, not a clicking zomby etc. That game for smart people, who can find the way ;)

I depo every month, some months is varies, but since I started I've noted the average to be 100 USD
I don't mind doing it, I have the money for it.... sometimes (a lot of times) I don't like it because I feel I shouldn't be spending so much on a computer game.
I have to look at it like something that I do everyday and spend a few hours on. That's resonable on spending around 100 bucks. 70 hours a month (probably more)
I can spend less, but usually have less fun.
I end up with not enough for a good gun and ammo. So it'll leave me hunting or swunting exasaurs and small stuff. Or small mining runs (20 bombs or something)

I like to roll out with a LR32 or 41 or maybe a Cb19 ar Manis with 100ped of ammo and blast some mobs! I like to go to CND and drop 100 bombs
I like to have armor with 5b plates and keep it repaired
I like to use my TP chip often
I like to go into PvP red zone
I like trying to tier up weapons even though I never buy enhancers....
I am working to be self reliant. I mine for what I craft, which I use hunting.
It's hard and expensive

but 100 bucks.... small potatoes compared to some.

It was 2009-07-25.
Half an hour after the depo me and a friend got a ATH.
Still having fun with my share of the money :D

I haven't deposited after hitting level 18 in laser pistoleer. That was 2 years back. I am now level 43-ish. Not a high volume player, but i like the free skilling.
 
Deposited about $600 in the first 2 1/2 years. Then nothing for about two years as I became self sufficient. However, I got a little low in money and deposited $25 if Feburary. Things have been fine since then.
 
My last depo was 8 months ago, and it will be the last.

I stopped depositing a looong time ago. The money that would last only a few frustrating days on MA's miserable Platform now enables me to enjoy multiple hi-quality MMOs and even have multiple subscriptions to each. I won't even mention being able to save up easily for brand new rig at the same time.

And If I feel like gambling I just go to the corner store and buy a lottery ticket for a buck instead of gearing up with mega Uber expensive gear to go kill some pixels for the same odds of winning The Big One.

IMHO, MA's moneysucking little Project is quickly growing completely irrelevant to the vast majority of the gaming community. They're avoiding this game like they would the neighborhood thug.

It's all about value for the dollar, folks. :computer:

I did one deposit 300$ and not planing to do more until MA pays out my first deposit :silly2:
 
I used to deposit quite alot (on average around 7-800$ a month for the last 2 years) but I never have seen that as a problem because I played 4-5 hrs/day and had lots of fun in return. However the last few weeks I start to loose interest in the game, even despite the missions which at first were pretty nice but after you killed your 726th merp get pretty boring ;). So now I play a bit less and try to avoid depositing.

Oh, and I can absolutely assure there's no personal loot pool as my biggest hof sofar was 971 ped :).

Multiple MMOs with multiple subscriptions and you still find time to come here to complain? Why bother? Unless you have some sort of agenda I can't imagine why you would come here with all that you have going on.
 
I have deposited on average about 15$/month and have requested my free gold card kit just last week.

Deposited equivalent of 100$ in euros, little more than one month ago.

Still having fun with it right now, but of course i am just killing small argonauts (young to gatherers) so my ped pool is decaying slowly.

The day i'll hunt better mobs i am sure it's going to cost more :rolleyes:

They didn't want to offend and say, "Well, you also need to use your brain."

This isn't a slot machine where you just pull a lever. You need to have skills (in game and in life). You need to have a strategy. You need to know what to do and when. It's not just getting max guns, max finders, and max bps. You need to skill up in each profession and get good at them. If you just went and bought the best of everything but didn't know how to play and had no self control, sure, you could lose 130k ped in two months. But you would really have to work at it and really need to visit the wizard and ask for that brain.

what did u shoot/click/mining amp used the most?
 
Had months of fun with my only item being a 0.1ped item, exploring the continent (don't think amethera existed yet). Damn I was happy :D

Started depos of about $100/month, stopped because I had moral objections to the fact MA allowed such high expenditures by letting players use extremely low efficiency tools (L didn't exist yet) and profit was inexistant. Damn I felt bad :(

Now I only make maybe one depo a year, to test some new stuff mainly, cuz when I do I'm only seeying that balance lower and it's not worth it. $ is easier and faster earned then grinding any high level mob.
 
I've deposited a $50 for the first time since 2008 on the day Rocktropia came about. That was my only deposit in over two years and counting. I deposited over $1K USD when I started playing five or six years ago to buy some toys, but I sold most of my gear and withdrew in '08. I withdrew more than I deposited :wtg:

I've been a low to moderate activity player since, and manage to break even or profit on most hunts / mining runs that I do. I would probably depo again if there is more content to explore :)
 
I used to play many years without depositing at all, I made that my principle. Some time ago I thought I might as well pay about same as I would in other mmorpgs, so now its about 15€/month (strictly maximum).
 
Deposited once. 100$ because I really loathed sweating.

Used it for trading + mining (while ores markup was sill decent - there was no xxsqualixx and alike and their 20k ped / day OA105 trips). I was earning quite nice sum of $$ on markup while doing Amathera only (narc was 175%, most other amatheran ores 140%, 1000 bombs unamped run yielded an average of 900 ped ores).

I used that profit to do some beauty business - made a few bucks there, then sold the salon and skills for a little more profit.

Then I withdrew 2k$ and left me ~1k$ worth of stuff and skills ingame so that I can come and see the future development of the game when something new appears.

Now Im playing like once in 3-4 months, yet like to see this little casino still rolling dice every once in a while.

The deposits have been hidered somewhat since I took up crystal meth as a hobby.

I think someone took an extra tablet of exaggeration, and everyone else's exaggeration pills as well!

Either that or u did condition crafting or 109's mining runs, or hunted incredibly uneco

From the news stories I've seen in the media, apparently it has a pretty good MU too, it seems all the popular gangs are trading it :laugh:
