I bought an appartment on TI some time ago. Im hoping to sell it for a higher amount someday. Is that going to happen??

Definitely, well hopefully, well perhaps. Depends on what MA do with the game. If they do something which makes owning an apartment more attractive then the price will go up. If they do something which makes owning an apartment less attractive then the price will go down. It's like buying anything else in this game. You pays your peds and you cross your fingers.
