Where can I find Asteroids to mine ?

I went to a astroid near calypso and setesh and I can't mine it I have the laser and attachment.

Is there a specific place you have to go to to find them ? Help

You need to look out for little orange triangles it's not the big asteroids, they're much like small mobs which float around in space and can be targeted like any other mob (though pressing F to target doesn't work in space).

Outside of Calypso: [Space, 59507, 69511, -1665, Waypoint] just east of the space station usually has a small field of C-I asteroids which are the smallest ones and good for skilling on initially.

All asteroids can be mined with both the attached or mounted lasers.

The difference between the two is:

Attached tend to do more upfront damage in a single hit, whereas mounted apply a debuff to the asteroid which strips away some of the protection/armour they have.

You'll quickly find that the TT lasers don't do enough damage to get through the protection of the larger asteroids which is when you'd want to start using bigger lasers.
