You can’t expect somebody to keep up with with such a recent game update such as residue use. I wonder if he still clicks each craft manually or has he figured out the auto click?
Wait there is auto click?

This is why I don’t see the point investing in an expensive weapon… just doesn’t seem to change much..
Doing the exact opposite, my experience with going high Eff & high DPS* is, for example, for 2023:

Sometimes loot is bad. Even a month can be pretty rough; my tt for may is 95.17, still yearly is close to 99% (yes, TT out contains the TT of broken enhancers - those are 0.60 - 0.75%)
If you add the effect of the great recent changes to nanocubes and shrapnel being auctionable, it's the best year to hunt in Entropia.

* To save some folks from having some tantrums, some notes are required:
- DPS does not have a direct effect on TT return but having higher kills per hour will lead to lower volatility medium and long term and ofc a lot more markup medium term;
- Eff has a direct impact on tt return, regardless of the looter level as per community tests done by Zho and others.

- (bonus) DPP does not have a direct impact on TT return; it helps with loot composition; it will NOT spawn extra stuff in loot, it will just lower the amount of shrapnel gained on top of the same items/stackables due to having a lower cost to make a kill.

I'm not too sure what you mean here. Lowering the amount of shrapnel makes sense but if shrapnel is lowered what is it replaced with? Do you mean to say its replaced with items/stackables that you "normally"/abnormally get? In which case saying ,"it will NOT spawn extra stuff in loot" is misleading.

I will give you an example:
The tt you will get will be lowered, thus the filler (which on Caly is shrapnel)
If it costs you 3 PED to kill an atrox, you will get (in case of a 1x loot) 1 liver oil, some 10 hides and 1.98 ped tt shrapnel.
With a better DPP gun it will cost you 2.75 which will lower your shrapnel stack to 1.73. The difference will not be replaced.
Loot now is based on cost to kill, mostly, efficiency and looter having a direct impact on the amount (tt) you get back each kill.

What I mean with better DPP will not spawn extra stuff is that you will not get other stuff in those 1.73 left, after getting stackables...
