I took down my holiday stuff at home last weekend and my neighbor still has their Christmas tree and all their lights up, too. So -everytime I drive by, I'm thinking .. "take them down already -- SHIT!!!"

I don't really have any input, I don't pay attention to the banners here. This thread just reminded me of that and made me laugh.

In the USA xmas isn't over until easter. I've seen xmas decorations at houses until then, and once I even saw a city with xmas street lights burning in July. (no shit)

I'd say get rid of xmas all together.

However, it is quite common in many places to keep Xmas decorations displayed for 2 or 3 weeks into the new year.

In any case, the Xmas banners have now been removed.
