The title asks clearly what i want to know.
If i own a 100 QR Basic Filter <non-Sib Mechanical Eng> and a 100 QR Gec Spurs Gear 1K <SIB Mechanical engineering> blueprint, with lvl 5 in mechanical engineer profession. Which among the two will I have more chance of success?

Thanks in Advance for reply :)

I you do own both, just go put them in a crafting machin and look at the COS-bar. Should be the easyest way to find out :)
If they are avalibel att auction, you can show info on them both and compare the COS-bar from the info window. This is a bit harder as the bar is much more compresed then in the crafting machine, so small differences are hard to see.

well there's an *if*. i ain't level 5 in mechanical engineer yet.

Ah, that makes it a bit more tricky I suppose :)

SIB prints have slightly higher COS then non SIB when they are maxed. Wether or not lvl 5 is enough to max a lvl 1 print though I don't know for sure, but I'd think so.

You don't need to go to the crafting terminal to find out the Cos - you can just look at the bp info at it also displays the Cos for full quantity crafting.

interessting pool i would say the sib one :D

Hello,

The SIB just gives you a bonus skill, that all.
If you have choice between 2 QR 100 BP use the one where the ressources needed are the cheaper and use the one which will give you best item to sell easily.
I have my exemple.
I was one of the first crafting MA-101 on full condition for hours everydays.
I got a lot of HoF and some nice ATH (93K PED) with my BP QR 100.
Another guy, a french one (vive la France :D) reached a higher ATH (121K PED)using a BP with a QR around 21 if I remember well.....
So yes the QR will help you to make nice run (just check my Tracker lol) but not only.
The luck to be on the rignt place at the rignt time make all the difference :)

So use the SIB to skill faster and for cheaper than if you have to skill on regular BP.

It's only my point of view :)

the SIB one will give a higher COS at 100 QR, because the non-sib is capped at what it would be if you were lvl 5 mech. the SIB one isnt maxed until lvl 100, so it will improve your COS unless you are already lvl 100 mech.

however, the MU on the gears' ingredients to craft will eat your lunch.

thanks for the answer.
that brings me to another question, if u don't mind :p

what if someone actually reaches level 100 mech, will he see any difference in QR 1 and QR 100 of the same SIB blueprint? <i.e Gears in this case.>

btw, i ain't crafting gears, i was just giving it as an example cuz its the only level 1 SIB Blueprint i can compare basic filters with.
