I was hunting with some friends at itacha robot spawn.
just pulling some warrior commanders 010101 s a bit closer too town and kill em there with less steelbirds around and more ppl to help with it.
Along comes star and keeps pulling them E instead of W, into the steelbirds..
Well i didnt care too much i just got a safe spot and kept shooting the commanders..
It was clear star didnt like it at all... fuck him it was shared loot
Star and his snorky borky buddy put down 5 vehicles around the commander so i could not shoot it from range with ML35.
and when i got inside the vehicles he got into plane so agro went on me and it killed me.
So there was a hof and i got most of it... really nice...
and now they aint shared loot anymore.
they change commanders too non shared for star while there are 100 drone elite stuck in trees and even more unreachable steelbirds in itacha killing people inside shopcontainer.
Soo i would say get rid of this Kim person and get Marco back.. his events might have sucked but at least he was fair.

Go to entropiaforum and you can ask for things there. Kim's actually listening to the player base, you just need to make the suggestion first

I liked shooting the shared loot commanders.. many other people did too.
star didnt.. now they aint shared loot anymore..

people doin a fair amount of damage on a warrior and drag em too itacha tp...
only need to do 10% damage other people around tp kill it and all loot goes too 1 person.
few ppl notice this cuz it doesnt show its non shared and they have been shared a few days now and many ppl got loot off em on mobs they shot the day B4

While I don't necessarily agree with conclusion that Slate jumps too, the facts remain interesting.
Aside from the shielding tactics of Star et al. (I trust Slate's observations there, I'm sure he's not the only one that noticed), changing a mob during an ongoing event from Shared loot to regular is far more than spawn adjustments; its a fundamental game experience modification on the fly.

When MA wants to set new challenges for players in the league of Star, Neo Sharp etc that's totally fine with me. If there is first a nice sausage of possible shared loot dangled in front of the noses of lesser gods, and then yanked away it's not a surprise people get pissed off.

As for that use of vehicles to stop others from pulling commanders I think was against the EULA, as it interferes with ur experience of the game ... but hey, everyone1 is equal in front of the law - just some are more equal than others

I think the best solution is 1 spawn with more commanders,and then lets see how this will run,Beside Star killing them i didn't noticed many globals.What i did see was Star killing commanders and other 2 ppl came by to shoot at the same commander maybe,maybe they can get something too.So maybe is just me but there was at least 2 commander to shoot at the same time.

with shared loot people always get pissy.

MA should make 'ALL' mobs tied to an event shared if they are going to do the shared thing at all... If they want bots to be shared make EVERY BOT in the virtual universe shared.... in every spawn on the planet involved in the event. Similarly, don't make it exclusive to hunters. Make an LA involved in the event maybe have a shared loot for all miners mining there or something?

yea thats what im saying, a commander is not harder than 500 steelbirds at once and a lot less armor decay.

If u ask me .. I think they can stick those 500 steelbirds where they are most def "unreachable"

clearly. I wouldnt even mention it if it happened 10 times or less, might need 5 sec break or something, but it was clear he told fapper too get in plane too so it would most def agro on me.

Why the hell should star put up with people taking little bites out of his mob? and why should less skilled players have to be restricted to 12 man teams to hunt big mobs?

There's room enough for all players of all levels to have it their way. So come on MA, get your act together.

Its pretty fucked up using cars to shield, then getting into a plane to divert aggro ... I partly blame MA for a fucked up game but Star isn't exactly a 'nice' player ...

What the hell, if he had bigger balls, he would just people be and get on with it, the chance of anyone but him getting an item is very low anyway with him doing the majority of the damage.

For MA, once again ... thanks for a fucked up game ... How about introducing more shit that doesn't work ... Taming, mentoring and all, we dont need but we do want more stupid cars that are used to exploit, more flying things to exploit further

Sooo true... 100 drone elite are stuck in big trees in east scylla.... this morning itacha was no go area... too many steelbirds and all unreachable.. now there are 60ppl here and we drove em back.. killing 5600hp big bulks in 4 seconds..
no shared warriors anymore for people that want to try something else than birds after killin the town free for 2 hours.
and the balls of MA too take only1 second of their time too make warriors non shared!

I never said the story about star was ok and neither did I say it wasn't ok. I'm not going to start discussing an event I never saw and have only one side of the story 'cause so far I haven't spoke to star.

What I said was if star or anyone else wants to hunt a mob solo he should be allowed to - this rule that all mobs are shared loot is BS.

btw: if you don't think star is a nice guy i'm guessing you don't know him very well.

Your account looks pretty accurate of what happened. I don't mind other people shooting mobs in shared loot. The system was likely intended for 30 people all shooting same mob to get a "share" of the loot. There are a few issues you failed to leave out...

1) There weren't a bunch of your "friends" shooting the mobs around us for the majority of the night, there was only you. This in itself would be fine, if you weren't agro'ing all the steelbirds in the area onto us and then hopping into your precious helicopter when you were in trouble. Commanders are a difficult enough mob as it is, we don't need the 20 steelbirds you ran past to deal with while shooting them. Not to mention, you'd stay at ML35 range as you yourself admit, and then get into your helicopter or hide behind a tree/mountain/building if the mob turned onto you (either giving me back the agro or trapping it at times).

2) You weren't able to do the mob at all from what I noticed. You NEVER tagged them. You always waited until I tagged 1 so that you could leech whatever shots you could off of it.

3) Keep in mind that you (Slate) have repeatedly attempted to ruin events for myself and others within my society. You repeatedly agro'd warlocks onto our hunting party with your main and 2nd avatar. So do you think that now I'd like to "share" loot with you while you basically let me incur all decay and pay a fapper while you sit there shooting the mob then hide like a coward? No thanks.

4) Anyone at the Atrox Queen event knows that I'd pull in a different direction than others but not complain about others shooting the same mob that I was on. It was a community event and I have no problem with that sort of thing. I welcome more events like this in the future.

5) Obviously MindArk listened to the request since I was the only one actually shooting commanders on the first night other than slate's version of "hunting". Which I might add was quite similar to the version Mary Jane got locked for at Warlocks earlier in the year. They also reset the server for the "drones stuck in the tree" at my request the day before. I just report things that I see to be bad for the game, not just if they are or are not beneficial for myself. If you question this, then obviously you didn't know about the 2x laser amp bug that I just reported and was corrected. I'm pretty sure I could have profitted with 1 amp taking 10% decay while amping another amp on an aimp mk2 and MM if I'd not cared enough and had the decency enough to report it and NOT exploit or use it.

6) I invited everyone at the tp to come shoot at them with me but most of them were busily being slaughtered by steelbirds near the tp and couldn't even reach Warriors. I requested that this be fixed as well (TP surrounded by bots isn't much fun).

Best of luck . Since you were killing Warriors with your friends before supposedly, I'm sure you can continue to now right? Nothing is stopping you from teaming on them. I'm still out here shooting them like I was the past 2 days.

I think that having 2 spawns is a great idea. No I did not suggest they turn shared loot off to anyone. I simply pointed out what was happening with this hunt and they solved it with the method that they decided upon.

Even if he was the only 1, shared loot is shared loot. It's kinda unethical for you to say "it's alright to have 30 ppl shoot at it but just one person is wrong!". You knew it was shared loot, you knew this could happen so you did everything in your power to get this nasty "mosquito" of your back. If you didn't like it you could have stop hunting these mobs but you didn't.

Now you say he ruined your Event cause you couldn't hunt in peace and he agro'd mobs on you. Well it's an event every1 got shot and agro'd on in Ithica, as you might noted this is an event with shared loot... Not the Star i wanna be alone on the planet shooting these mobs show without having anything to do with other players. You could have been a grown man and picked another mob.

I certainly don't like the way MA handled this. If you handle children you have to be consistent and not change the rules. They should have said "no Star this is an event for everybody, let Slate shoot at the mobbies too. If you don't want Slate to shoot your little mobbies go play with the Daspletors in your room".
