didn't work because entropia streams are watched by entropia players, and entropia players usually watch noobs hunt to find out when wave began, so no advertisement potential there.

I heard (completely from the rumour mill and not a clue if its true) it involved free stuff, which ended up getting farmed and abused. A shame really as you are right, most stream mainly to entropians and it would be a good incentive to get the game out there a bit more if there was just a basic reward for referral and "purchase" as it usually is.
