Question: will rocktropia receive future updates eventually?

i have read that mindark recently bought rocktropia back from the planet partner but nothing since, i tried the planet for a little but there was a lot of bugs and missing textures/graphics

will it receive any future development eventually @My|MindArk @Ludvig|MindArk ?

Good question. And why all land area are still taxed
 
i mean its been 8 months since they bought it back and nothing since then... its weird. dont want or need any timeline, just want to know if eventually its going to get worked on or just abandoned

I think there might be another problems going on atm.

I for one think they need to downscale to one planet only and do that prober first, if they lack the crew to work on multiple planets.

Roadmap wouldnt be bad either. 🤷‍♂️

I think they bought it back so they at least can create new shaders that works in UE otherwise RT will not be able to run in UE.
After that they will do other changes to RT that are also needed but not a must.

did they state they would anywhere though other than the original "press release"?

there is this quote by jan welter:

but there has been exactly zero communication on the matter since then

No based on knowledge that CE2 shaders don't work in UE, so if they want RT up and running when the time is
running out where both CE2 client and UE client works someone must fix this.
There are other technical issues probably also related to graphics that needs to be fixed.

After that I guess all we can do is wait and see.
 
Let them hire a balance manager first, without one content is meaningful to be explored.

its not like balancing the game and confirming future updates were mutually exclusive though
 
I had same question and answered myself
"it is not MA Priority" and i assume that if a PP comes and offers on it , RT will be on market.
probably it could be insane if MA allows total control to the PP
 
Definitely need to figure their shit out with having a true Balance Manager if that takes away time from RT development so be it.

They need to bring back Hunt The Thing.

I mean damn...sell the map off as LA's or something.

It was too good to just flick the switch on just because it isn't making enough money for upkeep.
 
Make a golf course out of RT or HTT.
Golf doesn't need intensive graphics to work well , such as WGT.com

Roadmaps don't matter when you have no intention of sticking to them

Yes of course they will. Silly to think that they won't update it within the Entropia Universe 2xtwen timeline.
 
I hope they put those interactive AI NPCs on all planets and make use of the planet-specific loots

not "will you divert resources from priorities to work on rocktropia"

they are not mutually exclusive...
