Hi, this is a competition to make a promo video for the 3rd Annual World of Firepower International Hunting Tournament... or WoF 2009.
Those who shot footage last year of the hunts, mass tp's and other aspects of the event will be at a distinct advantage in this competition, as good editing and manipulation of real event footage is the preferred approach.
Rules:
The Video must be at least 1 minute long.
The video must use one of the tracks below as it's soundtrack. The tracks may be edited for length and effect.
The brief is to show others the spectacle, the camaraderie and the competitiveness of the WoF.
The video must contain subtitles/captions with either re-printed information from the WoF Rules & Info Thread or the WoF Records Thread and/or a version of the words below.
"Every year, hundreds of avatars show their allegiance. Against innumerable foes of every kind, they battle for months until one team, one nation emerges victorious.
Serve your Country in Outer Space.
Get one for the team.
Bravery comes easy when your friends are heavily armed.
The WoF: Free to enter, Open to all. The trumpets are calling. The slaughter awaits.
March 7/8th until July 11th, 2009"
The clip must end on an explosion (at least the sound of one)
The footage should be edited to get the best from the soundtrack.
All existing WoF artwork may be featured.
End of Rules.
Prize: This is to advertise a truly huge event, which I am proud to announce will be advertised by MindArk on their restyled Home Page for First Planet. The video will be foremost as clicking from there helps people discover the wonder of the WoF. The views are guaranteed to be high, and there are no Rules against including self-promotion or advertising of services within or at the end of the clip. Future projects will hopefully carry a prize once the treasury is increased.
