Ok. "Proper" signup:

Team: Scotland (seems redundant in this thread, but people may forget which thread they are viewing).
Captain: Kygon or Radio...whoever is accepting votes.
Status: I was in last year's team.
Other crap: From last year there are a few factors for success.
1) DPS -Quicker kills means more globals. Our highest DPS people, with good skills and decent HP/armor should be hunting at all times.
2) Reliability - Don't sign up to hunt if you are not certain you can make it.
3) ECO be damned - If you are worried about eco, then the WOF isn't for you.
4) Support - we need it, and everyone should have it. Even if you are the best hunter, don't shrug support. Even taking time to kill a merp in your way is time lost killing scoring targets. Likewise, our main hunters should never waste clicks fapping themselves.
Ideally, I would like highly skilled, well-equipped scots in the main hunting team. If we can't find a good dozen, then less-equpped, less skilled non-scots will fill-in. This is the SCOTTISH team afterall! I'm not fond of the mish-mash Amathera or Eudora teams, but Hurr allowed them. The only reason I am on the team as there was an open call for bodies and my great, great grandfather was scottish. That and I had a few soc-mates on the team. If there are 12 people better equipped and better at hunting than I am, I will be more than happy to be on support and was more than happy to do so for most of the competiton last year. Of the 12 on the main team, my opinion is even if you are not hunting that day, unless you have other pressing RL matters, you should still be on support for that day. Hunts will be every other week so plenty of time to rest and time to recover your peds. That is my "crap" in a nutshell. We can discuss it in more detail later.

PS we do run teamspeak. You MUST be able to listen but the ability to speak really, really helps. Get a good headset with a microphone. Also, if you are not familiar with the scottish accent, get used to it! While the scots can write perfect english, some of them can barely speak it!
I'm fairly good at accents, but I found myself a bit hard-pressed at times. Speech is fast and accents are thick in the heat of battle. I realized in the past I've had the benefit of seeing the speaker and lip-movements and body language help fill in the gaps. It will also help to run some practice hunts to work on coordination and we can also learn to identify people just by their voice.
