It is the only gun with relevant DPS in the TOP 10 of all weapons with the highest ammo burn rate per decay and by faaaaaaar the cheapest of them.
It lasts for days of nonstop firespitting without the need of any repair.

If you have a surplus of crapnel, then this is your solution.
