Any famous people in EU?

Just curious if there are any 'famous' people that play EU? Actors, singers, sports players, etc...

post here if you are someone who is 'known' or know somebody that is 'known'...

If there were, why would they want to reveal themselves?

Why don't you post your real life name here and we'll decide whether or not you are "famous" enough?

But i'm not talking about current mainstream. I mean, c'mon...

As said though, this topics been done to death and privacy is a wonderful thing to many people.
 
In case you were unaware, our friend and fellow Entropian, Jon NEVERDIE Jacobs is a film star, and independant movie director.

In 1988 his short film "Metropolis Apocalypse" was a critics choice at the Cannes Film Festival. In 1995 his, "The Girl with Hungry Eyes" won Best Horror Film by Cinefantastique. And most recently, in 2001 he won "The Maverick Actor Award" from Los Angeles' The Method Fest.

This is mostly common knowledge but I think it's nice having someone of his accomplishments among us. Oh by the way, there is a short clip of 'The Wooden Gun' on Google Video. Check it out if you get the chance. He plays a gunfighter named Jake Finney. This film is also available at that Amazon website.

I asked the question to see if anybody wanted to reveal themselves. Not if somebody wanted to make a smart ass comment about if they are 'famous' enough. If you don't know, thats fine but don't post in the thread.

well yea there are famous ppl in PE, they tend to not go around shouting it all over the place thou, and preffer the rather relaxed attitude of ppl around them as a non famous person, but just another part of the univers :)

hehe that would be wicked if he did tho and he would be invinsible in pvp hes already been shot 9 times
 
In the true spirit of role-playing, most famous people, If they are playing this or another game would be trying to be someone else in order to protect their identities and to keep with the true spirit of RPG's... Look on Wikipedia for Role Playing...

Over time there has been some people that claimed to be people of somewhat fame but its hard to know for sure but im quite sure that i have met some quite highprofile computergame developers and pokersharks :yay:
 
I was in the paper once, at a school fete, was about 9 at the time :silly2:

Must be nice for famous people to roam about in EU without hassle, so I say leave them be :)
 
It's been rumoured that Danny Glover was active in :censored: but I can't be certain. I am certain that last year I was featured in a local TV news bit, as a shining success in the use of the low glycemic diet, I having lost 57 pounds. Afterward I was 'famous' within the hospital system where I am employed, for a few weeks. I think they must have all forgotten about that by now.

Yep for the most part, very true. We had a professional baseball player in our soc. He never did reveal his name, due to the fact he wanted to be just like us. He didn't want to be known for his RL name, but for his avatar name. He did end up telling us what team he plays for, and what position. He was a very class act stand up dude.

I am not famous, but my brother is... Plays professional baseball... Matter as a fact, im sure that dude from our society knows my brother... They now play for the same team. (Reds)

In fact, I personally know one or two avatars who’s real life identities have household recognition on more than one continent. It is certainly not my place, nor anyone else’s who knows of their activities here, to post their personal details on a public forum.

My question was a rhetorical one posed to create consideration of your comments through devil's advocacy.

If you’d actually bothered to use the search function, you’d have found countless other threads on the exact same topic and would have realised that creating this one was highly unnecessary.
