And so, the Run 5 Mob-list looks like this:
Atrax (Dominant or higher) LA04 19600/9800
No specific maturity required last time. Only the big ones score this Run...
Phasm (Mature) LA38 1630/3100
Again, any maturity last Run, but only Matures score here...
Those pesky Youngs become obstacles, sorry
Longu (Dominant or higher) LA05 19800/11100
Much like the Trax, fairly easy mob, but only Big ones score...
Hogglo (Any Maturity) LA34 6900/17900
Hogglo are tough enough, any size will do for points...
Kingfisher (Any Maturity) LA34 6900/17900
Yes, they're back. Any size will do though...
No need to scour the LA for Olds as once before...
What I've tried to do this Run is open things up a bit...
Hogglo and Kingfisher are two of the toughest mobs we use, so I'm allowing ANY maturity to score, getting a global in the first place should be easier, but I hope it will mean that scores will ultimately be higher.
Atrax and Longu are the two slightly easier Mobs, so restricting the scoring to Dominant and higher should not present too much difficulty. Atrax Stalkers are a mare though, and the Longu LA can deliver OA's and the occassional Prowler. You wouldn't want it too easy though, eh...
The Thorn in your Side this Run will be the Phasm Mature. Don't get me wrong, there are plenty out there, but the Youngs outnumber them and will hamper your efforts. Hopefully though they will also provide plenty of loot for you to continue your hunt.
The Prizes for the winning teams in Run 5 are as follows:
1st Place: 1500 Ped
2nd Place : 600 Ped
3rd Place : 400 Ped
That's right, Team Hunting for CASH PRIZES!
(Prizes were slightly higher last month following a Rollover in Run 3)
For the uninitiated:
The WoF Pro Series is a World of Firepower style Team Hunt Monthly competition, Free to Enter, and Open to All. Teams can be any size 2 - 12, and the object is to global on each of the 5 mobs. The TT Value of each global becomes the score for that global. The total value of your best 5 globals, 1 from each scoring mob, becomes your team's Total Score.
For a full summary of the Rules and Instruction see the WoF Pro Series (WPS) Thread, but it's pretty obvious what is required.
The main thing to know is that your first global screenshot will Set the Team List. Subsequent globals from that team can include any or all of the established team, but NOT new people. Obviously the Team name should also match, but I will forgive errors like spacing and Capitals, as long as it's clearly the same team.
There are 2 changes to the rules as stated there:
1. A print of the map is No Longer required, just time and location.
2. All screenshots must now be posted within 48 hours of the Global.
I'm gonna say that again, so there's no mistake:
All screenshots MUST be posted with 48 hours of the Global for it to be valid.
Please post all global screenshots in THIS thread.
Team names in the format "WPS - {whatever}" please.
The 48-hour Rule will ensure that the thread, and the competition, is kept alive and kicking from start to finish. It also gives every team the chance to see how the competition is doing and to improve on their own scores, for that IS allowed. In fact it is encouraged...
So that's it, you know what to do, you know what to hunt, you know when to start, and when to stop. And I'm pretty sure you know how to KILL!
GO TO IT!
GO TO IT!
There will, I have no doubt, be questions. Feel free to post any and all queries, problems, questions, concerns and clarifications in this thread. Whinges should be written clearly, in ink, on a sheet of A4 paper, and binned.
