Christmas Wish

I have one wish I'd like to make of Santa.

Since many players don't have the time or peds to take part in the Merry Mayhem event this coming week that perhaps he could activate a 2/1 (3/1) skill bounus for Christmas week.

Some of Santa's little helpers might be feeling kind of left out of the EU community event over the holidays and many are home so I'd imagine some would certainly appreciate it.

We had just a (in my opinion too long) period of 3 times skill bonus

Yeah I know and I sorta agree but on the other side it is Christmas week and while I can't speak for anywhere else some in the US have this week off.

It just seems like a small let down not being able to take part in an event that I don't have much of a chance of winning after the fun of the robot wars and skill event.

Maybe next year then.

We'll maybe you have a small chance to win, but you have the opportunity to join the event.

FPC could have a second event run along side the Merry Mayhem to accomodate those with out peds or skills to participate.

For the Mayhem Category 1 event, I can safely say that is for people at level 18 or above only and, with a few thousand peds bankroll.

something for the under 10lvl with full knight or paladin as a prize maybe, but does not give advantage to those with more than 2-300 peds

C'mon, we just had almost 3 weeks with 3x skill bonus, we have more events in the last 2 months of this year then the 5 years before. And if someone can't participate because lack of peds, how would an extra skill bonus help. You need to cycle peds to make skills.

you are thining about a lottery.
EU is not gambling.
The reason the top of each cathegory has a better chans than the rest of winning is because they have worked hard to get to the point of where they are now.
Continue to work hard and you will be in a good spot next year.

I believe the idea of 3Xskills was to encourage people to play more in the runup to Christmas when people generally do other things. Now Christmas is here people have more time to play and so MA do not think an extra incentive is necessary. There are plenty of things to do in EU as it is. There are also player generated events which you can take part in if you want to partake of an event, or why not stage your own?

i agree with superkanjo and some of the other stuff posted.

I think ma has done alot lately to try to apease most of the player base. when i last looked at the teirs there was level zero to 24 teir if i am remembering correctly. how is that not for the low skilled?

also this game is "free" well not really, ma says "no subscription fees". No where do they say everything thing is free.

if people think this game is free they are delusional. you can make it free but you pay with alot of time and patience. I know all too well about that

Since there's going to be a large number of people not partaking in the event (I'm one of them) an idea to pass the time and have a bit of fun might be to try to round up a bunch of players without all of the Eudoria TP's and some willing escorts and do a large scale TP run. Maybe PA to Hades to Ithaca to Argus. As much as I'd love another bonus skill period to get my handgun skill on par with rifle, I'm happy with the 6.9k skill points I gained over RWII.

And besides, perhaps Mindark planned everything the way they did for a reason - the extra skills from earlier this month will likely help contestants perform better in Merry Mayhem.
