Help: Finders Fee for LR48!

Hello! :wave:

I want to tier up my unlimited LR48, but I'm having trouble finding a 2nd one!

I'm offering a 200 ped reward to the person who puts me in contact with someone who will let me use their LR48 to tier mine up! I'll pay out this reward once my LR48 is tier 1!

I won't be attempting this tier upgrade myself, and I don't expect anybody to just hand their valuables over to me... I'm going to be using Star's Tier Upgrade Service, the safest service available, so please don't hesitate to contact me! :thumbup:

If you haven't checked with the guy on this list, perhaps he still has it even tho the list is old.

yeah, I thought of that, but didn't bother since the list was so old...

I just PM'd him, can't hurt! :D

EDIT: I received a response PM... He sold it quite a while back and the owner is unknown!

I am officially the only LR48 owner on public record now! :(

Who else has one? speak up!

All the info is in Star's thread... collateral, insurance, all that good stuff that makes it the safest option possible to tier expensive gear! :D

And a second question, how much it cost for upgrate a lr48 unl from star?

The exact price will have to be worked out by Star & myself (and the 2nd LR48 owner) before we do the tiering process...
I will be paying for all the necessary fees required.
(the owner of the 2nd LR48 will not need to pay for anything)

I'll be paying an insurance fee based on the agreed value of the LR48...
Star can provide collateral for the LR48 while it's in his possession. ;)
(this insures if there is a loss it is reimbursed)

Please contact Star if you have questions or concerns about his service!
Please contact me if you know an LR48 owner! :D
 
Finally got in contact with a LR48 owner! :yay:

We'll have to discuss whether or not he'll let me use his gun for the tiering process, still haven't met in-game yet! ;)

I'd still like to get in touch with other LR48 owners! :wave:

EDIT: Just happened to see someone die by LR48 in Twin ring!...
(owner was Sue Suzy Timbrell from Entropia Directory)

I talked to the her, but she was not interested in letting me use hers to tier mine! :(
She was interested in tiering hers up though! :silly2:

2 in one day! woot! any more?!

Even if collateral is given for the 2nd gun...it doesn't replace the 2nd gun in the off chance that it is lost. If the 2nd gun is lost...it's back to paying high Markup on the limited lr48's....not something that I really want to risk.

that's the sad truth! :(

hrmm... maybe there's some solution to this problem :cool:
 
Did they change the way the tiering system worked?

When they first introduced it, you had 3 possible outcomes.

1. you failed but didn't lose duplicate item

2. you failed and do lose duplicate item

3. you succeed, and do lose duplicate item becaues it's "added" into your tiered item.

SO unless they changed the way number 3 is, who in there right mind would "lend" you an item knowing they won't get it back if successful.

Just wanted to add, IF they changed the way number 3 is, then what really is the whole point of needing a duplicate?

You've got it wrong, it doesn't work like that!
If you succeed, the 2nd item is never lost ;)

1. Fail + Keep 2nd Item
2. Fail + Lose 2nd Item
3. Succeed + Keep 2nd Item

hope that clears that up for you! :D

So like I said, they changed the way it works.

So in reallity the need for a duplicate item is assinine. MA changed it for the good on not losing the second item when succeeding, but they could have just removed the need for it all together, apart from them wanting the chance to earn extra when a fail happens.

They can do it all fine without the second item. If an attempt fails, they can still receive their profit from the added resources.

it's never been set up so you lose the 2nd item on success!

I dunno where you heard that!:silly2:
 
Come on 98% Salvage Chance. Do it... Upgrade it.... Ive upgraded lots of items and only lost one item. And that was after it failed 2 times in a row, then 3rd time item was lost. I should have guess it was gonna happen. GL With the Gun GenX, Im looking around for you also.
