Today I was thinking the same thing

I loved the beacons. Always have fun with soc mates and friends.

Beacons should be back soon :) says december in roadmap and there is a big VU for calypso on november 29th...

Kim also mentioned argonaut instances for january

Only pic I can find of one, you organise yourself, and climb into the spaceship to battle the drones inside! :)

And the "dungeons" are underground robot bases, me thinks.

It F***ING AWESOME, didn't realize that MA can do something like that:)

I have never played Beacons because I am to new in this universe, but after seeing this movie I'm like WOOOOOOOOWW

The hotest thing I gave ever saw in Entropia:)

Can't wait for 29th and for my paycheck:)

Well thats the big advantage of CE2, such things can be done relatively easy.
Bad thing, we had to wait damn long time to get this feature back.

Finally it will come back, and looking forward to do some beacon soon ;)
 
I think I'll reserve judgement until we find out more on how they'll run, i.e. are they exactly as we had them before or have they been changed?

Seeing a video of map doesn't that doesn't show any gameplay / action it could be from any game. There's even a few old UT2k4 that look a little like that.
 
Here is another video from old beacons. It's a bit dark, but it covers the feeling I had, when going on my first beacon mission ;)

(don't mind the german stuff, it was made for my soc, so ignore it^^)

Ode to Beacons

A strange signal appeared
Flashing on my ore finder screen
Not knowing what it was,
I told a friend in teamspeak
He yelled and freaked
It is a guarannted global
You must find the beacon

I ask what does it look like?
Follow your finder. is all he will say.
So I run towards the area
filled with excitement.
At the oceans edge, i cry
it has drowned OH NO
I swim down and there is this strange spaceship
and two very dead robots.

I am told to find a button and push it.
I swim and look and swim and look.
Finally I find it and push
and there it is, swirles.
I got a nice beacon
and some ped to boot.
Oh I miss beacons,
I hope the devo peeps know
that finding is a great part of the fun.
 
Servers are down, crosses fingers!!

I remember once when i got this strange signal, was south of old twins, the place was hilly and crowded with mobs that attacked me all the time so i had to grab my gun and lost the signal.
Took me about 30 min to find the spaceship, these 30 min was very exiting, killing mobs and searching, and try finding it before anyone else did.

I got exited every time I got that strange signal :)
Cant understand why MA dident gave us back the beacons earlier then this?
