Recently a friend with voice chat tried to talk to me.
But I could not hear him.

I had port 35060 and ip address 192.121.4.4 opened.
That port and address was initiated from my PC.

I have looked in my router logs, and I kept having port 27640 and ip address 192.121.4.4 tried to access my router ip address.

I allowed that port and ip address to go thru.

So to make voice chat to work for your routers:

192.121.4.4 and 129.192.113.69 ... port 443/35060 (voice chat Ericsson) out going
(129.192.113.69 is new for Proximity Voice Chat)
192.121.4.5 ... port 35600 - 60000 (from 35600 and upward will be used, in ths example I limit it up to 60000) out going

Note: you can allow any ports and just allow ips for your adsl firewall to make it easier.

Not gonna do it! Wouldn't be prudent!

115.64.250.143 is in Australia and does NOT belong to Ericcson. It belongs to an ISP in Brisbane Australia.

192.121.4.4 and 192.121.4.5 DO belong to Ericcson.

I don't think the entire Entropia playing planet needs to open a firewall port to some bloke downunda.

Not sure how to get voice chat working.

I have tried everything i can to get voice chat working in game. and i think i just wasted 8 ped paying for the service and cant use it. Please someone let me know how to use it

well

I don't know your situation, but here u can try.

I updated the firewall information above, it was at https://www.planetcalypsoforum.com/forums/showthread.php?181544-firewall-settings-entropia.html and I forgot to update this one.

The firewall information maybe out of date again, am looking for person to test if any thing has changed now.

If you have no firewall problem then;

Press O when you are in the game.
Check settings under VOICE CHAT.

Check your PC volume and your sound card working.

I think it is all.

I had to add firewall exception from my adsl box for ip adress 129.192.113.69 for Proximity Voice Chat to work.

Had anyone problems with AVG antivirus? Mine blocked EIGCC_MAIN.exe
(I think it is Ericsson file)

My Windows 7 detected that file too and I allowed it to go outside.

Voice chat "eigcc_main.exe" is running whether you got it enabled or NOT.

It wants to connect to port 49000 at first without IP, then later (probably when someone using it in my vicinity) 129.192.113.70 Port 35060.

At least for my machine, lol. Needless to say I wish it would not run at all...
