Update - there is another method which is more precise - the tt value increments per tier in tthe following way
Code:
T2/T1=2/1 = *2
T3/T2=3/2 = *1.5
T4/T3=4/3 ~ *1.333
T5/T4=5/4 = *1.25
T6/T5=6/5 = *1.2
T7/T6=7/6 ~ *1.167
T8/T7=8/7 ~ *1.143
T9/T8=9/8 = *1.125
T10/T9=10/9 ~ *1,111

Hi.

Maybe something like this exists already, excuse me if that is the case. The tier upgrade components for weapons/tools/etc. seem to be the same, just a coefficient (multiplier) is applied. So basically, we can calculate the components needed for the next tier of our stuff as long as somebody else has already done that tier and has published the materials needed + we can get the coefficient (by comparing previous tier materials, for example). What I propose in this thread is to come up with the coefficients for as many items as possible, and then publish in wiki or so. For weapons, I will use some known items as the base. We can adapt the base as needed.

As I am lazy to calculate all, your input badly needed :)
The only thing to do - if you know of a confirmed tier quantities of an item not on list, take the highest number of that tier and divide it with the according base quantity. For example, if I have ImpDOA SH and my T6 requires:
Code:
tier 6 1311
blazar 13802
quantium 575
putty 928
emeralds 3450

I take highest number, 13802 and divide it with T6 blazaar of IMK2 above, 28076. So, the coeficient for ImpDOA SH = 0.4916 or 49.16%. So I post it and it lands on the list.

not sure if I understand what you mean...

Hi,

As said, I don't think I understand what you are talking about...I am pretty sure that you do not mean a TIR when you say "Tier upgrade coefficient", nor are you collecting a mere tier-up ingredient list it seems...

Do you mean to say that there is some (linear?) relation ship between the number of ingredients needed from one tier-up to the next? As in: item A needs 100 blazers for T1, and that will need 100*Coeficient for T2...

Cheers,
IvoL

Sorry if I'm not very clear :)
What I refer to is indeed a linear relationship, but for ingredient quantities between items. Example where it is useful:
You are nearing say tier 7 in an item, you are first to reach it. You can find out the approximate quantities (quite close in fact), look at T7 components for imk2 I listed and multiply them with the coefficient of your item, to buy the ingredients before hitting 6.9

But overall, the lists you refer to are not needed, if you don't want very exact quantities, would be enough to know the coefficients for the items - the way it is implemented now anyway.

ahhh, you mean that if item A requires twices as many blazars as items B for T3, and you don't know T4-ingredients for A but you do know them for B (see the ingredient thread), you can guesstimate what you'll need by applying the same factor (two in this example)...I guess that makes sense, and is good to know! +rep! :)

Update - armor T5

update - sentinel added

update - modified shadow added (lol)

Already thought about doing this a while ago, couldn't be arsed to collect all the data though.

Glad that you're doing it now :)

Yea this was just an attempt to say that you don't need to keep all the material info, as you can calculate it based on the multipliers posted here. For example I can know how much tango t7 will cost quite accurately though no-one is even close to reach it.
items like Eon SGA, i2870 and tango.. you can find material info alleady on wiki or in this tread, as I have posted it earlyer.

Ya im also to lazy for doing it all myself. Provided the instructions on how to post in post 3 though it would do it :) apparently not

Added T8 for weapons

Added T5 for faps, T6 for armors

Tier IV Adjusted Omegaton ASG-3 Warthog

Tier IV adj ASG-3:

Piles of Opals: 657
Blazzar Fragment: 1754
Tier IV Component: 308

Ty, added, Adjusted Omegaton ASG-3 Warthog 9.37%
so roughly 1/10 of imk2 tier costs
