Hey,

playing this game for 5 years now, terminated my old account just some days ago so I can start with a new, fresh one. My favourite all-time-high profession is mining, forever.

First excursion with my fresh avatar, zero skills and it felt great, had to discover the TPs I really need again, yeh, with sleipnir, but still good feeling, bit like the ol´days. The mining-run wasn´t that great, 200 bombs unamped with unmaxed tt-finder, average 100-200 m depth - isnt made for those special amethera-areas. :)

Had a long long NRF streak, got at least XI/30PED gazzurdite in the end.

Do you count decay of finder\excavator, VTOL fuel? It have nothing to returns, of course.

'cept, think Ace and someone tested it and higher finder decay seems to affect the returns.
 
I got a Total Decay&fuel line in my sheet drew but it just adds up as a sideline, doesnt affect any other line and a extra-amp-decay sheet.

My VTOL fuel expenses is kinda 200ped per month. But it's MK2 (higher consumption), also I am not flying only in service centres, since I somehow can't fit in them with VTOL. (emocry.jpg)

OF-102 improved my amethera-mining exp. by a lot compared to tt-finder, you rly notice the difference with some more depth(still not enough).

Though I have this strange feeling that I may later realize I was an idiot for asking, what the heck is the part labelled "Going to my lootpool/long-term return:"?
 
Lootpool calculations are doen by everal players, its an good way to track ure TT losses versus MU loss of profit.

The simple rule, what goes in must go out... But for that to truly apply in anyones calculation.. they will need to add their losses TT based, but also pull out their profits TT based..

but this is not the place to discuss this, or give big calculations..


Subscribing to the log, im always interested in the mining improvements based upon different finders

Hey norm, whoeier already stated it(and thx for interest who&norm), I and other ppl think the TT you spend isnt lost.

For example I go mining, drop 100 bombs, get 50 PED TT-Return in form of ressources back - so what happened to the other 50 PED I "lost"? The 50 PED go to your "loot pool/long-term-return" that´s how I call it, and one day that "loot pool" triggers and I get all/smth bigger, back.

In that case: +50 PED Lootpool/longtermreturn - 100%
------------ +45 PED Lootpool/longtermreturn - 90% because MA takes 10% of the TT you spend, nothing more.

If I get, like 150 PED TT within a 100 PED/bombs-run back I subtract those additonal 50 PED from my "LootPool/Longtermreturn"

My opninion, the 90% is still possible, not much changed, if you´re able to mine enough markup and dont do crazy things you profit.

Also, you can easily get overpaid by something big. Then you get in "red", and suffer&suckotage starting.

Hehe, can be visualized like sudden "tsunami" from "loot pool".
