SETTLEMENT UPDATE

  • The vast majority of the outposts on Eudoria have been redesigned using modern assets.
  • Forests have been thinned out around the Fort Troy, East Scylla Mountains region.
BEACON MISSIONS

  • Beacon interiors have been enlarged and redesigned to improve playability.
  • Beacon robots have been renamed and rebalanced, they are now slightly tougher but not as many.
  • The number of storage container loot boxes in each Beacon has been increased to 21.
  • Storage container loot boxes are now randomly placed within the Beacon.
  • Real-time team member statistics display- damage, healing, kills, deaths, etc.
  • Timers have been adjusted in balance with the recent level design changes
  • Loot from unopened storage container loot boxes is now added to the storage container boxes in subsequent Beacon missions.
  • Each Beacon level now has its own unique end boss that guards a storage container loot box which holds a large part of the total loot for each Beacon mission.
  • Minimum number of players required to enter Beacon missions has been lowered from 4 to 2. Note that the recommended team size is a minimum of four players to complete Beacon missions effectively.
  • The number of checkpoints have been reduced in all Beacon missions.

  • Iron Challenges for all Puny creatures - speak to Ingrid at the Port Atlantis swamp camp.
  • New Traeskeron mission - speak to Henry Johnson at Camp Poseidon.
  • New Rextelum mission - speak to Private Brian at Triton's Landing.
MISC

  • The Longu and Molisk creatures have received graphical updates.
FIXED ISSUES

  • The Daily Hunter mission has been fixed.
  • Exploring the area mission has been fixed.
  • The Volcanic Island mission has been fixed.
  • Kill the Aetherex on mountains mission has been fixed.
  • Finding water mission has been fixed.
  • Clear the area mission has been fixed.
  • Hunt Some mission has been fixed.
  • Kill'em all! mission has been fixed.
  • Fixed a bug with the shared loot feature on Hussk.
  • Flying land area objects near the Emerald Lakes mall have been landed.
  • Fixed a problem with the terrain under some houses at Lake Penzance.
  • Fixed the name of the quest object in the Feffoid Cave.
KNOWN ISSUES

  • Breakable glass in the Beacon Missions can cause performance issues when it destructs.
  • It is not possible to purchase the more expensive items from the market traders.
  • Global/HoF messages and effects are currently disabled in beacons.

The new Molisk looks like an ugly brown spawn resulting from an Alien impregnating ET... please fix it Alf, it has no personality, no texture, no contrast, no tooth.
 
So, is beacon loot fixed now?

Definitely better than before, but beacon markup is not justified any more with most of the loot being tt food.
 
A pic of new molisks, anyone (on Ark currenly)?
Molisks are supposed to be cute, would be sad to see them spoiled.

SETTLEMENT UPDATE

  • The following is a list of changes, some for the better.. others maybe not :( (and apparent bugs) we found this morning
    Club Meat now renamed BIG Industries OLA #01..otherwise no apparent change
    Aegis mound is now a dead spaceship type hangar.. the tp is inside but us bugged, you can leave, but not arrive (Traeskeron and Equuus)
    Aloode is now an outpost shack with just revive, storage, repair & TT.. most importantly no tp
    Ashi now called an outpost and has the tatty building but has TP and full set of terminals including Tech & AH
    Bilton Towers TP now labelled on arrival as New Oxford, as is New Oxford lol
    Boreas is now a dead spaceship type hangar.. the TP is inside but us bugged, you can leave, but not arrive
    Eurus SC replaced with hangar but all facilities present
    Fort Ares has TP and is otherwise like the a east/west type Hangars.. facilities are on floor 3
    Isslye not available.. so assume TP one directional as at Aegis & Boreas
    Limnadia has the new style building but full facilities
    Osere not available.. so assume TP one directional as at Aegis & Boreas
    Tukar not available.. so assume TP one directional as at Aegis & Boreas
    Zychion Citadel now working again and Ripper swarm is back


    This list may be incomplete, as I have also had reports that some outposts no longer have crafting terminals or AH.

Wow do they have to break working models and turn them into ugly shit? Were the good old days really so bad that everything has to be changed? :mad::mad::mad::mad:
 
ahh Mollies are not as cute anymore I guess I won't feel bad about knocking their teeth out now :p

I guess the "natural camo" they have developed as a result of (overnight) evolution is paying off then? :silly2:

new mission info so far:
100 puny: Aim
500 puny: Anatomy
 
Longu isn't as bad as the Molisk, but still not that great :(

My Longu figurine now has more colour :eyecrazy:

I'm clinging to the hope that something went wrong with the new textures and that Molisks will at least go back to a whitish colour when they fix it ... please ...

The new tongue effect is ok, but the colour.... who the hell works in the graphics department ? Billy Rubin ??

No, it's not. And where is the tooth. You know, the thing they loot differently from other mobs and used to be visible on their model.
 
With this new puny missions, I was wondering if the rewards counts towards disciple graduation? might be a dumb question but couldn't find anything about it, just for chipping.

This not a Calypso change but Arkadia. In other non-calypso news, there are now craftable hoverpods on Arkadia.

The new situation makes a lot of sense if you ask me :p
