Be careful with the big throfoid bosses that could be on your way, they hit pretty hard.

Dodge the big balls of fire that the Pyromancer Chalte will throw at you (if he is spawned at that time).

If you want to get to the mind reavers, the correct path to follow on the crystal bridge is this (you start at the bottom, "jump" is the finish line).

does anyone have a path/guide to marcimex spawn? seems like all the info for this dungeon is geared towards mind reavers

You meet mid-sized marcimex there before you get to mind reavers (can't miss/pass them), so any guide for mind reavers is even more so good for marcimex. And if you want big marcimex, they are in the 2 side-rooms adjacent to the room big mind reavers.

I have created a simple map, so maybe it will be helpful to new cyclops depths adventurers :)
* drawn it by heart when bored at work, so there might be some slight difference in length of hallways and space of the rooms, but at least it will help you to find mobs/bosses you search for :)

Legend:
E - entrance and only revive point (so don't die inside, or bring some H-DNA)
S - stairs
... - way from first floor deeper
TP - way from deeper to deepest :)
R - repair
T - trade
*** - energy bridge (way to Mind Reavers)
B1 - L64 Chief Shkah Deathbringer (100% impact)
B2 - L93 Onard The Faceless (100% cold)
B3 - L53 Master Of The Guard (100% impact)
once killed it spawns: L71 Reanimated Master Of The Guard (100% impact)
L51 Overseer Rakzum (100% cold)
B4 - L300+ Pyromancer Chalte (can be run past with some runspeed buff) (100% burn, need some tactic)
B5 - L100+ Shadowshell (random spawn in the room) (50% stab, 50% impact)
1 - Thorifoid berserker (low maturity) (100% impact)
2 - Thorifoid shaman (low maturity) (100% cold)
3 - Thorifoid shaman (mid maturity)
4 - Thorifoid berserker (mid maturity)
5 - Thorifoid waywatcher (maturity increase the deeper you get)
6 - Thorifoid Shaman (big maturity)
7 - Marcimex (low maturity) (50% stab, 50% impact)
8 - Marcimex (mid maturity)
9 - Marcimex (big maturity) + possibility to spawn Pestilence
10 - Mind Reaver (low maturity) (50% cold, 25% stab, 25% cut)
11 - Mind Reaver (mid maturity)
12 - Mind Reaver (big maturity)

Hoping someone can clear up a mystery for me, because this is the 2nd time this has happened.
I'm in the middle of shooting Pyro, and there is no-one else around, and he's still alive and shooting fireballs at me.

Then some else globals on him. So where else is he spawning?

There are multiple instances available, so if let's say 100 people enter at same time, you would end up maybe 5-10 in each instance. Well that's my guess.

Yes, works exactly like any other instance, for example mayhem FFA instances...
 
If you enter in a team you always get a private instance (you can enter alone in a team and abandon right after you entered).
If you enter solo you get one of multiple (I think) shared instances.
