Lets close the summer out right!

Concept:
The BIG Industries Summer Jam will include a variety of events, from team swunt competitions to treasure hunts and trivia giving everyone in EU the opportunity to win and have fun doing it! We will be placing wormholes from Camp Icarus to the event around 17:45 MA time the day of the event.

When:
Sunday August 18th 18:00 MA time

Where:
BIG Industries OLA#42 (290,587) on Calypso


Sweat Hunt:
Bottles of sweat will be hidden in various places around OLA42, each stack will be a different amount of sweat and those who find them will note their coordinates and bring the bottles back to the event managers for a prize. There will be a prize for each find based on how well it was hidden.

Team Swunt Challenge:
Participants will be paired up with a BIG hunter that will use the Entropia Tracker Client to track loots of the killed mobs and ensure the teams are able to kill the Ambulimax. All mobs must be sweat dry before they can be killed. The winning team will be determined by most loot value in TT.

1st Place Team: HERMAN ARK-0 for each member
2nd Place Team:1k of sweat purchased from each of them by BIG Industries for 2.5 PED.

Armored Trivia:
There will be two rounds of trivia with five questions each. The person with the first correct answer to each question will receive 3 points, 2nd correct answer 2 points, and 3rd correct answer 1 point. After the five questions of each round the person with the most points will win one of two full sets of Customized Grunt Armor.

Round 1 wins: Full Female Grunt armor colored and textured in JORI + 7 2A plates (must be female ava to win)
Round 2 wins: Full Male Grunt armor colored and textured in ORO + 7 2A plates (must be male ava to win)

There will be a variety of guns and tools available to win in minigames, races and as consolation prizes as well!!

Looks like a fun event. :)

Hopefully there is a lot of new players who can experience a wormhole and then OLA42 for the first time.

18:00 In-Game time is in just over 2 hours from now. I will be opening the wormhole from Camp Icarus to OLA42. Wormholes need a wide open area to spawn so we will do it from the beach. Everyone will need to organize there by 17:45 In-Game time.

The wormhole will be a visible object in which you can physically see however it only remains open for 15 seconds and that's all. In order to go through the wormhole, you need to right-click it and then "Operate" it. You do have to be quick about it because once it closes that's it. You can not simply walk through it, you do have to operate it.

Please clarify eligibility criteria:
  • "everyone in EU" as stated in the opening sentence,
  • people with agility below 41 as in daily sweat buying,
  • something else, or different for different parts of the event?

I hope we will be able to see so many nice circles running simultaneously like during the event more often in the future.:yay:
