The Red Bar announcing globals should be able to be disabled

The game is not playeable as it is now, its so much chatter crap in the hole so called "social interface", atleast add options to close it down and disable functions you do not want to have.

As it is now you cant even see the whole global msg...:(

Right click on main tab, choose UI settings and activate Fade away. Atleast a fix to c the whole thing :p
 
You can even click the red bar to get yet another pop-up window detailing (not really) the said global/hof :laugh:

I completely agree.
 
Plus, at is is now, you can no longer go back in history to look up an older global/hof message, even if you had the (old) global chat temporarily disabled in the first place.

EDIT: Noticed you can do this in the message center. Complicated.

Yes, that's an option to dim the chat but also make it less visible. I't s a piece of sh*t as it is, making it less visible only messes things up even more. Especially when the same messages (as in the stupid pop up bar) may also be shown in chat.

I dunno if this is some sort of trick to "show" new people "the big loots", but it is crap, and there should be an option to disable it...

totaly TOTALY agree, is anoying as hell to see that think blinking. You can ignore the chat by seting the system tab but jesus that blinking global is anoying you need option to remove that.

But becose MindArk use casinos tacticts they want 'gamblers' to keep seeng who get what.

To ad to my previous post:
Not only the blinking bar is the problem, the eyesore colors of the new textures also need a makeover.
When people play for an hour of so, maybe all the blinky stuff with very unnatural colors don't matter, but when people spend big amounts of time looking at the screen, its just tiring. I mostly do gaming sessions of 3-6 hours of continuous log in time no problem with an occasional smoke break, but today my eyes just couldn't stand it for more than 2 hrs.
Dunno, maybe it's just me..
 
I do not want to see globals. There is a reason I always had the globchan turned off!
 
I do not care what other people are global on, really. I mean GZ there thats out of the way. now can I go back to what I was doing???...Forcing me to spend bandwith and eyestrain to see them global, just pisses me off

More damage can be done with a keno ticker tape, than can be gained by it imo.
More threads I read about this new chat, the less reason I see to log in.
 
Better way that this inscription will be displayed on the entire screen. Let everyone enjoy the win of other players! Title shall not disappear until you click it, and then it opens a new window with a description of the HoF. To close the new window propose to make a double confirmation to close this window (are you really sure?!!). If you were at the same time on the hunt and was killed - it does not matter, the main thing is you spent the money, you always can return back and probably kill your proteron...
And your loss - is profit for MA!

Definitely takes getting used to, but typing into the rookie channel has helped enormously. Lots of knowledgeable people willing to give some advice. I can get used to it, even though change sometimes is a bit uncomfortable.
I noticed the progress panel icon in the top right is gone, so I had to make new buttons.


Note - The rookie chat is definitely buggy. it will appear to lag and not have any messages for about five min at a time, then all of them come back, and you have to go back to read.

Get rid of the sound icons so we can see it properly, have an option to remove for those who don't like it.

For those of us who like it, can we have it color coded for planet/hofs/soc/discoveries :)
 
Attention Citizens !

Do you love that flashy global/hof spamm feature as much as i do ? Well thats an absurd question because we all love it, dosn't we ?!

If you do (and you DO else . . .! ) you should absolutly NOT i repeat NOT use Tape on your Screen to make it dissapear! Its also NOT advised, under no circumstances to play Entropia in window mode and use another small window like winamp for example that stay always on top to move it over this wonderfull flashy line.

I hope everyone have a wonderfull day and enjoy the precious and convincing features our never tiring and always hard working developers spend countless overworked nights on to have them served to us for our convinience.

I found it annoying too in the beginning, but now im getting used to it.. Besides i cant read the damn chat properly (give us the option to BOLD the damn chat or more VISIBLE colors!), and i DO like to follow globals/HOF's from friends..

Only thing ive been annoyed about is that the text with type of item/global and value is easily readable, while the avatar name is tiny winy.. WHY?!
 
i concur give us the opion to get rid of the global pop up bar , its annoying as hell,,,,,
 
Ya whats the point of being able to turn of global messages in each tab if you are going to force us to see them with a bar thats attached to the main chat window... either undock it so we can move it somewhere near the edge of the screen or give us the ability to turn to bloody thing off all together!!

Also we would appreciate if you guys kept posting about future patches not just in your facebook but here on pcf and other PP's forum with the bot.

Not all have facebook or visit it. So they may miss a lot of news.
Entropia patch update on Wednesday March 26, 09.00 UTC.

Tomorrow the Entropia Universe servers will be taken down for the patch update to release 14.6.1. We estimate a downtime of 2 hours.
