Equus owner feels fine 
There is a safe zone, you just spawned outside (it happens periodically)
Spawning outside of safe zone - is very good for Equus, because you can move out and there is already distance between you and possible pirates.

But it happens, and it is important to take this into account.
Also, if you have a 50k lootables, you can easily afford to take a VIP for 25 PED

This is not a new phenomenon--pretty much since the beginning of space. It usually only happens at Calypso when there are too many ships in the safe zone. If you have a lot of stackables, don't assume you'll enter safe inside the safe zone, use a privateer or mothership to summon you to space.
