Right now, Entropias economy is at its lowest..

Cool John, good that you are doing well in the game but please dont tell that mob with 180hp is big mob, go and hunt a big mob with at least 1k hp, then we can talk. We will see how long yours half of the money last on hunt.

Cheers

Why should you be able to hunt 1k HP mobs for 3 hours a day 30 days a month?

Just because the option is there doesn't mean you should take it. There is nothing wrong with hunting 200 HP mobs if you can minimise your TT losses and maximise your MU gains.

There's a chap on the forum who just hunts kerberos, naked, permanently. He is in profit by TT. He uses tools which are freely available (less than $1k invested).

That's one extreme - I like hunting larger mobs, with around a 10k ped bankroll (give or take), but I accept when I lose and I also remember the times when I win (looting MU items).

In reality, in EU, you should do an activity you are comfortable with the loss rate - be in 1 ped / hr on punies, 10 ped / hr on 200 HP, 100 ped / hr on 1k HP. Combine this with a solid plan of markup hunting, and there is every chance you can stay afloat.

You didnt understand my post.

I was referring to Johns big mob with 180hp, that is not big mob.
I can hunt halixes 1 year for 1k ped total cycling that all over the time with no lose a more than 50% of that.
For bigger mob like 10times more hp than halix you need to have 10k peds at least and cycle it all over the time and swing might be bigger.

It seems you were the one who misunderstood a post.

He said "bigger" mobs (bigger than punies). Punies have what? 20 health?

In comparison, 130 HP on Halix Old Alpha is much, much bigger.

The point is there are many options to hunt at any level. Especially if you leave Calypso.

But you will always have the drama queens exaggerating with statements like "SO I SHOULD JUST HUNT PUNIES??? F*** THAT!!!!"

The princesses want to gamble big and lose small. And people wonder why MA never visits these forums.

forget it...deleted.

Exactly :)

Also when you say you could hunt halix for 1 year, well good for you, because most of the people can't, because people per nature are greedy and tend to go higher and most can not control themselves, that's the key in this game, discipline

Hunt inside your abilities and budget and don't cry when you step outside of that and lose.. :wise:

Probably its my fault(English its not my primary language, I am Portuguese), I play inside my budget and way under my abilities(165k skills, lvl 56/57 laser pistoleer, also I know how to play), I was just explaining partially how the game works

If situation continue like this, all hunters and miners have to buy some crafters skills and all players will work in the new "Explosive Projectiles" Casino that MA is promoting. Yep, in the slot machine of grandma.... :D:yup:

Next release: Blueprint bingo for grandmas. Get 5 blueprints in a row on your (L) bingo board, and you win! :D

Hi guys, it's been a month, i've taken a break because of how shitty the auction was. I'm going to come back now, and give my 2 cents. I'm enjoying the argument and discussions people are having about this and I think this is a really important topic as well as a very interesting one to talk about. Will go back to hunting and see how everything is...but it's only been a month and i'm guessing the auction is still the same. We will see!

Could you give us a rundown of your typical loot that you have for sale and amounts?

I'm a low tier hunter, I usually get:

- Oils: Muscle, Eye
- Components: Socket 1, Socket 2, Tier 1s, Electronic Stabilizing Components
- Sweat: Diluted, Normal sweat as well (I swunt sometimes)
- Extractors: Basic Stone
- And the misc: Wools, Iron Stone, Hair Gel and Hair Spray.

Right now i'm focusing on Argonauts and trying to finish my 10k argos.

I think markets are slowly turning/rebalancing, such as mined resources there is a showing of a bounceback in % (although small).
