MA is trying to ween us leeches off events. Essence will be removed totally after this year, so they are making vamp suck and drop rate non-existent to people are not as upset next year.

Get back to grinding out peds on 0% MU mobs for no chance at a prize or get the hell out of the instance servers :lolup:

It was good while it lasted :). It would be great if the lifesteal cape dropped this year to create some demand for the essences. Hopefully that would increase their consumption and improve the droprate so it's not stagnant like it appears at present.

Haven't looted any essence today in L2 instance is it bad luck, item cap or did they remove it early from loot pool?

Its the item cap. As soon as someone runs a vamp they start dropping again.
 
Interesting that a friend in Cat 5 last night got an essence for a lower level category, has anyone else seen that?

I have to say I have done five instances of this Halloween event and got ZERO evil essences. This halloween event sounds like a scam. I am very pissed and annoyed. I felt like I am wasting my time. :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:
 
So....

Who wants to buy the 169 units of Average Essence that's on auction and kill some counts? :rolleyes:
 
I seem to recall last year that items and such were extremely delayed.

Well if someone from last year wants to roll that dice I'm sure they can wait until the end to use that massive stack of average essences...:rolleyes:

Would have bought them at a reasonable price, but not 2350%, and the seller has very specially decided to put the end date about 5 hours before the end of the mayhem.

So unless anyone has the DPS to kill the vamps in that timeframe, it's a bit of a dumb sale. I feel sorry for those who have actually bid :laugh::laugh:

I got 2 essences immediately when the instance started, and zero since.

Seems someone thought it was a good idea to buy them at 4k ped BO tho... good luck to them making a profit if a cape doesn't drop...
 
Fuggit! I am gonna go to the casino with my next 1k euros, at least they have the god damn decency to gimme a reacharound(ok they dont but the drinks are free whilst I get robbed!)

The stack of 169 is still on the auction. Nearly all other averages have sold though.
 
wow I just saw that, that's crazy I could have sworn I saw that one was gone, clearly I'm blind.

Plus they actually tell you the odds, so at least you know it's fair when you leave drunk with an empty wallet

they are lv4 vamps which take me roughly 1 min some odd seconds to place essence in the box and kill the vamp at 1.5 min x 170 = 4.25 hours of continuous killing it would be tight but not difficult :)

Assuming you don't get kicked out of the instance, lagged, bugged and other assorted possibilities. :)
 
the only thing i hate about these instances is the fact that the graves are solid. mobs get stuck on them easily and go unreachable. also the turret is a bit too close to the gate and its range kills mobs in the spawn zones, thats pretty much the only things id change for next year.

as for no more essences next year that's great news no more farmers hiking up prices which will save me peds :D
