The reason for this game to don't be more polular is the same as always.
Ped volatility.
I had recently come back to the game. After buy some boxes and some ped from the web shop i found myself hunting medium hp mobs. Prots, scips, formidoms, ambus and caperon youngs. Most of the time i can't even return with the same ped that spent on ammo.
Hunting with maxed out tool and 205 hp and 45+ evader not enough it seems. Maybe it's the time at which i play, i don't know. But it is like having a ok run only once a year and all the other runs is a totally dry loot that i can't even show up on tracker. How the system allow you 50% return is beyond my comprehension.
Craft on condition is total dead.
Mining on planet is a total boredom (even with those new finder dsec that spent more probes than normal old school ones)
Peds just flight away so fast. What i m supposed to do? Almost 10 years ingame now, never sold skills from hunting am I supposed to hunt kerberos for the rest of my life?
In the end you have much more fun working for real than "playing" this game. To be serious i only came here to relax a bit. I do't pursuit the big hofs anymore cause they simple don't exist anymore.
If I look back to 2008, mining with low amps was fun, with big amps also. FOMA mining was very thrill amped or not, big amps or low ones like the lvl2 /3 that were my favorites.
The craft was fun back in those days. Both cheap bps and costly ones were fun to click. I was so addicted to texturing craft and yet it was very cheap ass bp's but i could do it all day and with a nice thrill. Go there now and click the same BPs and you all will see a big difference. Nowadays 95% of the big HOFs are on explosives projectiles. I even had a try on the explosive proj II recently and on condition it really look like the craft system is broken. I mean it, i m not joking. I could pull a few minis on quantity but on condition it's a 100% chance to lost peds fast and without any thrill.
Now add to that the old argo/drone/trox that could produce 8/9 k peds and the team hunts for big mobs like the mulmuns were I had amazing soc. hunts at the time. with various uber loots in less than 30 minutes.
The game is more compost now with pets, plot gardening, space, all the other planets and now even a FPS simulator. A lot of things to do and skill but the thrill is all gone. Sure I still like the game but the way i see it have changed so much!!
Planes for future? Maybe focus on sweating and hunt very low hp mobs for missions. The gremlin and the 5b should go since i can't justify a reason to keep them. Maybe even sell commando, evade, medicine skills since they still worth a bit and I can't find any reason, other than HP/skills showoff, to keep them.
