Not surprising, Mindarks idea to do an ICO is a fantastic idea if they would have been able to launch by 2016 when the iron was white hot.

I don't know - I hope it works out because no one really knows what the complete future of crypto currencies will be. But I have a feeling it's going to be about as much of a "savior" in terms of diversifying their income and helping to fund further growth of entropia as their compet project was.

I suspect that deep tokens will be 'mined' very very slowly via the current loot system, which has proven to be remarkably slow at letting go of things in the loot pool which people want.
Maybe alternatively they can be 'bought' via deposits and whatever that new concept is of hiding contents in containers which need keys..... boxes I think they are called...!

Yeah, as long as they're freely exchangeable though, putting them in loot wouldn't be the end of the world, since we'd still be able to buy them from other players before they were launched to non-EU players.

Same with the box fad.

Here is to hoping they really reconsider this plan. As of this week, major banks are already banning cryptocurrency transactions from credit cards. I would really hate to get locked out of transactions between the game just because they put themselves into a regulatory pandoras box.
 
So. Whats the current state? Did MA already mess up? Or will I first put some Dollares in and then they will mess up?

The compet idea was doomed from the start.

However this deeptoken has a lot of potential.. Imagine being able to withdraw your money in 30s. :ahh:

I can see being able to convert PED to DeepToken in 30s, but to convert DeepToken to cash you'd need someone to actually buy it... Where's the incentive for the buyer?

Eventually, 1dollar will not equal to 10 ped and vice versa ... this is what is happening here. They just want their hands of RCE since it is ineffectively growing for modern MA as company moneymaking-wise. People cannot deposit money which they dont have...

imo dude that will never happen - I told MA about bitcoin longlong ago - they had no inclination towards this.

they will make a separate token that has the same interconnectedness as compet - beware when they start selling deeds
 
and you thought its a good idea to post your affiliate link, so we can all join the referral spam, just because they mention games and cryptos in the same sentence? :scratch2:
