Ok, I know it's super silly, but I'm about to complete my resto and was thinking I maybe should not fly around with coin in my inventory.

Is the coin lootable in space?
 
It is, get a warp :D
 
I did fly with my coins, been shot and did't lose them, but that was 2 years ago so could have been changed.
 
If you have the coin, just check the first tab. If it doesn't say it's lootable then it's not.
 
the coins are not and have never been lootable.
 
yes you can sell them but you can not loose them in pvp.
