Hey all,
Today there are, to my knowledge, no DNAs that are 100% exclusive to any land area. As such, it is possible to hunt any mob untaxed, as long as people are patient enough to run about between mobs. This results in land area owners having stiff competition and very little edge to encourage hunters to their land area.
My proposal is to have some sort of interface which allows a land area owner to seed loot onto their land area. It would work something like this...
I seed 1,000 Christmas strongboxes into my LA with a 1/20 chance of looting one.
I seed 100 Arkadia Underground Deeds with a 1/500 chance of looting one.
I seed 10 Calypso Land Deeds with a 1/10,000 chance of looting one.
I seed 1 mod fap with a 1/1,000,000 chance of looting one.
There could be an interface next to the fertilizer station where the LA owner could seed the loot, and players could come up and see what potential items may be seeded, as well as the odds of looting them. This would give LA owners a real edge against natural spawns to encourage folks to grind on their land areas again.
Thank you for your time and consideration in this matter.
Very respectfully,
- Captain "Lucky" Jack
