    Yes, that made total sense to me the first time around you mentioned it. It leaves no room for the mob to regenerate health and ensures a quick execution lol and a boost in kills for kill based hunting quests. Though I personally could not live with returns being below 95%, that would destroy my bankroll I couldn't adopt this playstyle, that is just my personal preference so thank you for sharing.

    I did the same on pleaks (10HP) with a combat shotgun (11-22 dmg).
    I extended the test by grossly overkilling pleaks with a spirit + dante (46,5- 93)

    The returns did not vary much, but the biggest difference here was clearly the loot composition.
    With the shotgun I got mixed loots (as usual) but with the spirit/dante I was getting pure shraps.

    The issue with the overkilling is that to kill 50k pleaks the total costs is just way higher as to when you just hunt them with a small riffle.

    That part is quite obvious yes. I ment to your costs. What is total cost per interaction
    (decay + ammo)? What had been interesting to also know is if non damage interactions are
    included.

    On both our spreadsheets, Shrapnel is not counted towards TT returns. Shrapnel conversion in our minds is markup gained from loots, not additional TT. To so is sort of like a placebo, oh my returns are 95% but really they're 96%. But with us, its 95% TT return plus 1% markup, in our minds, it really makes much more sense to do it that way. FYI shrapnel was not counted in the markup either for a special reason I am not at liberty to divulge.

    Now that statement in the middle is very interesting! More shrapnel meaning over damaging mobs would mean less optimal loots, looting more shrapnel is not hunting at an optimal level as cited by mindark. Thats very informative.

    I am currently level 55 HIT, Matty's currently level 40 HIT.
    Now our guns max at a very low level it being Ozpyn Chon.
    But what does hunting professions have to do with returns?

    The turnover is based on these three factors, ammo, offence decay, defence decay. Nothing else.
